They were silent for a while, staring at each other. And soon, they burst into laughter.
"What rubbish? What makes you think we'll agree to that?"
Ren stared at them. "Because I say so. And that's all that matters." He looked at them. "I know that you have someone whom you work under, so it's best you inform them so I can have a more seasoned conversation and not waste time with you. Okay?"
The leader stared at him, pissed. But he casually turned to one of the workers. He didn't say anything but just looked at him. The soldier turned and soon left.
"You're wasting your precious time..." The leader said as he turned to stare at Ren. "I don't know what gave you such courage to even think you could make such demands, but you should give up." He stared back at the site. "This is a precious land for an important construction, not just somewhere you can demand..."
"Well, too bad. I've already set my eyes on it. And whatever I set my eyes on, I'm sure to get." He smirked.
