They took Da Shen home. They washed him up, clothed him, cleaned his injuries, and then laid him on the bed.
He remained unconscious through all of this. And he slept through the entire night and day.
He woke up the night of the next day. And when he opened his eyes, he was lying on Ren's bed while Ren sat on a chair close by, brewing some medicine for him.
Da Shen was shocked. He quickly sat up as he looked around to comprehend where he was. And when he couldn't tell, he stared at Ren, whom he recognized.
"Where is this place? Why did you bring me here? What do you want with me?" He inquired, searching himself for a weapon—anything.
"Don't worry. I'm not going to harm you or anything. I'm not like you." Ren sighed as he poured the medicine into a bowl. "Besides, you have no weapon on you."
Da Shen stared at him in shock as Ren walked up to him to hand it over. "Here. Have this. You haven't fully recovered yet."
Da Shen hesitated, staring at the medicine.
