I've been running the probability that the divine side has access to the prophecy's architecture since before the ancient texts were recovered, the specific calculation of whether an authority that was present in the world when the prophecy was written would have the prophecy in its operational awareness or whether the prophecy was the kind of thing that only ran in the mortal-side documentation.
The smile answers the calculation.
They know.
Not just the broad structure of it — the specific mechanism, the mortal heart at the center of the halt-the-gods function, the specific quality of a mortal without lunar connections in proximity to divine authority at the level the prophecy describes. They know what they're looking for and they've found it and the smile has the quality of something that has been running the same calculation I've been running from the other side of the conflict's axis.
