The convoy carrying Kelvin arrived at the airport shortly after midnight.
The journey from the suburbs had taken much longer than they had anticipated due to the rough terrain and several unexpected roadblocks they encountered along the way.
The moment the car came to a stop, Kelvin pushed the door open before the driver even had the opportunity to step out.
His movements were hurried, almost frantic, as he rushed into the airport without sparing anyone a glance.
For the entire journey, he had remained silent. His face had been grim and unreadable, but everyone inside the convoy could feel the terrifying storm hidden beneath that calm exterior.
Steve quickly got out behind him while Mark and Rita stepped out of the second car and followed closely.
