Nico turned and examined the place he was currently in looking for clue as to where he might be but nothing came to mind. then he turned to his former leader who seemed to be the one who had called him to the place.

while he observed his stats, he heard a knock on the door and stood up to respond to it. when he opened the door, there was no one there only a letter placed on his mailbox. after retrieving the letter, he turned back to his room and closed the door shutting it behind him. after hesitating for a moment,he decides to open the letter in hand and saw a confusing note.
' i need you to sneak into the school's head office and obtain the skills data of the second years...'
"huh...sneaking into the school to obtain the skill data of the second years? i haven't even been around the whole school yet."
Nico tossed the letter to one side and walk to the kitchen to grab some food. while doing that, sky walks into his room with some drinks in hand.
"hey Nico..."
"oh,hey there..."
she immediately grabs a seat on his bed, making herself comfortable as she opens a canned drink and gulps it. nico walks in with a bowl of fries he had just made and set it on the table while he sat down by his study table. grabbing a drink, he gulps it down while going through the letter he got again.
now that i think about it, there's no name specifying where it came from
he folded it and put it into his drawer and turned to sky who had already halved the bowl of fries.
"I've got a question sky..."
"yeah?"
"where are the school skill data kept?"
"huh...oh each year has a department head office where the files are kept"
"that explains it...."
Nico was slightly shocked and relieved that she didn't pry further. when she was done, he stepped out of his room and walked around the dorms until he got to the main channel connecting the dorms in the compound where he saw three boys surrounding a girl who didn't seem to like their company. he did his best to hide while watching what would happen. for a while, he couldn't hear what they were saying until a guy raised his hand to hit her prompting a girl behind them to react, pushing the guy away and taking the girl to safety. while the other boys followed after them, he decided to turn back to avoid further escalation of the matter. While he stood up to leave, he saw a boy squatting behind him watching the scene play out
"whoa..."
Nico loses his balance and falls on his butt
when did he get behind me...
"oh, yo..."

"sorry for sneaking up on you, a saw you watching something and i wanted to take a peek. by the way my name is white graywood..."

White stretches his hands to shake Nico, raising him to his feet in the process
"by the way I'm first year too,your class"

Nico walked back to the dorms with white escorting him. without realizing,white had fully escorted him to his room and walked in. while nico invited him in, white's eyes met with sky who was still in his room going through her tablet. like a reflex action, sky immediately sat up and turned to Nico who hadn't noticed their gaze.
"um,Nico... why is she here?"
"huh... we're friends..."
"why is he here?"
"we"re friends like i said..."
"HUH?!?!...."
Nico didn't know but white and sky were childhood friends who despite their closeness,had a huge beef that has been going on for years now. by now it seemed that nico has noticed some animosity between them and sent them their separate ways while he arranged his room. As he finished up,a system notification popped up
