Ezra
"Take off your clothes Ezra, and get on the bed."
That was what Alpha Allen said to me.
I stared at his face. Looking for something, anything that could relay that he was joking. I stared for such a long time but I didn't see it.
Suddenly, he drew his palms over his face in a frustrated manner, almost as if he was trying hard not to snap.
Before I could talk my way out of this situation, he pulled me to himself. The heat from his body, dulling my senses.
"What….. what happened to….. what did you do to Alpha Xenon?"
Maybe I shouldn't have asked that question but it was the only thing I could think about.
If he's dead then it's my fault.
"Why? Why do you care? Did his kiss mean so much to you? Tell me, Ezra. If that's it, then I'll let you go to him."
Go to him. Which means he's alive. Or wait… it could also mean he wants to send me to meet him in the afterlife. I'll need to choose my next words carefully. I can't afford to die twice.
