Ezra
"Allen…?"
I shook him again. There was still no response from him.
"Allen, wake up," I said, louder this time.
Still nothing.
My chest started tightening.
"No, no, no…" I muttered.
I tapped his face lightly. Then harder.
"Allen!"
Nothing.
I started to really panic.
"Is anyone there?!" I shouted. "Help! Somebody help me, please!"
My voice echoed inside the tent, but for a few seconds, no one came.
I tried to lift him.
I really tried.
But he was too heavy.
"Damn it…" I muttered under my breath, my hands shaking.
Then suddenly, the walls of the tent opened back up.
The entrance pulled apart and one of the elf attendants rushed in. The same one that was here before the hybrid attacked us.
He froze when he saw Allen on the ground.
"What happened?" he asked quickly.
"I don't know!" I said, my voice breaking. "Please, help me!"
He didn't waste time.
He turned and ran out again, shouting for others.
Within seconds, more people rushed in.
Guards.
Attendants.
