His forehead almost touched mine now.
And his voice dropped lower than I'd ever heard it.

His breath brushed my lips.
"That if I kiss you, Ezra…"
His eyes darkened.
"I'll want much more than that."
Allen's words echoed through the air.

I could hear my own breathing. It was taking everything in me not to run out of the room, due to the tension of his gaze.
Allen didn't move. He just kept looking at me with those deep green eyes, his gaze fixed on my mouth like he was fighting with himself.
My lips parted, but no words came out. What do I even say?
Anything. Say anything, Ezra.
Over the few months I've spent here, I've been able to make peace with the fact that I was deeply attracted to Allen. At this point, it was starting to feel like it wasn't just attraction anymore.
