Allen
I could see how the entire situation was affecting Ezra and it made me really sad that I couldn't magically make him feel better. "Let's go to bed now," I said quietly, pulling the covers back.
Ezra shook his head, still tense. "I'm worried about Syrus, Allen."
"I know you are baby, and I know a way to help," I told him, keeping my tone low. "But it'll only be possible when we see the host first. And from what we know so far, it won't take long before it appears. I promise you that I'll handle it. All I need you to do is trust me."
I reached out and cupped his cheek. He leaned into my palm, and It warmed my heart to know that he trusted me.
The look on his face, the way his eyes looked so dark with worry, the fullness of his lips. I couldn't tell if it was the situation, or something else but it suddenly made me hard. I didn't even know when I started imagining pinning him down and making love to him.
