I stood at the edge of the yacht, smiling as I pressed my palms against the railing while looking out at the horizon.
The sky was a vibrant, endless blue, stretching out so far that I couldn't tell where the air ended and the ocean began.
I took a deep breath, inhaling the salt and the crispness of the sea air, letting it fill my lungs. It felt good to just breathe without that heavy, stifling feeling of the heat weighing me down.
I was so lost in the view that I didn't even hear him coming until I felt a familiar warmth against my back. Rhys's arms wrapped around my waist, pulling me back until I was tucked firmly against him. His pine scent mixed with the salty breeze, and I instinctively leaned my head back against his shoulder.
