Chapter 147 - Chapter 148: Larvesta, Five Suns in the Sky!

One contestant after another took the stage, their skill combinations and the perfect teamwork of their Pokémon showcasing their skills, pushing the atmosphere to one climax after another.

As another performance came to a close, Vivian, microphone in hand, spoke with barely concealed anticipation:

"Next, please welcome contestant number 66, Lionel!"

A spotlight shone brightly on the entrance to the contestant's passage, clearly outlining Lionel's figure.

Lionel calmly strode onto the stage.

As soon as he appeared, a thunderous cheer erupted from the audience.

Fans waved their "Go Lionel!" signs with all their might, the colorful glow sticks creating a flowing sea in the stands.

The live stream chat exploded, a dense barrage of

text scrolling incessantly:

[Here he comes! Finally, the streamer is on stage!]

[Stools are already set up, snacks and soda are ready, just waiting for the show to start!]

[Expectations are off the charts! What surprises will the streamer bring this time?]

[Just ran back from the bathroom, this time I won't blink, I'll be glued to the screen the whole time! I'll eat my hat if I miss a second!]

Lionel stood at the edge of the stage, nodded slightly to the audience and the camera, then tossed two Poké Balls from his waist:

"Tyrantrum, Larvesta, come out!"

Two red lights flashed, and Tyrantrum and Larvesta landed steadily.

The two seemed to sense the presence...

The atmosphere was electric, the insects moving energetically as if responding to the audience's cheers.

"Let's begin!"

Lionel gave the command.

The Tyrantrum and the Larvesta exchanged a glance, as if reaching a tacit understanding.

The next second, a yellow halo appeared around the Tyrantrum, and fine sand, as if summoned, appeared and swirled around it.

Gradually, it coalesced into a weak whirlwind.

The Tyrantrum slowly raised its head, its gaze locking onto the spotlights hanging above the arena.

The sand around it seemed to be drawn by an invisible force, and with a "whoosh," it all flew towards the light source!

"Clatter, clatter,"

After a few crisp, light sounds, countless grains of sand instantly covered the lights.

The arena's light source was completely blocked, and the entire venue was plunged into darkness, leaving only a faint outline of the stage in the center, as if shrouded in an endless night.

"What's going on?"

"Why did the lights suddenly go out?"

A chorus of questioning voices rose from the audience. Someone instinctively leaned forward, squinting, trying to see what was happening on stage.

Just then, a faint light suddenly appeared in the center of the stage.

Immediately afterwards, a second, a third… five small lights lit up one after another in the darkness, gradually growing brighter.

Finally, they outlined an arc of light in the center of the stage, resembling the edge of the sun.

It was the light emitted from the five antennae of the Larvesta!

The orange-red light wasn't dazzling, but it was exceptionally conspicuous in the dimly lit venue.

"It's a Larvesta!"

An audience member immediately realized, shouting excitedly.

At that moment, the Larvesta flicked its five antennae, and five small, pale blue fireballs floated leisurely from its top.

It was Will o Wisp!

Small fireballs hovered around the Larvesta, emanating an eerie, yet soft, blue halo.

Illuminated by the blue flames, the stage gradually brightened, just enough for the audience to see the scene on stage.

"Wow, it's Will o Wisp!"

"Such beautiful blue flames..."

Exclamations rang out from the audience.

Five ghostly blue phosphorescent fireballs slowly rose into the air, swirling above the Larvesta's head, sometimes intersecting, sometimes separating, creating a fantastical scene.

Just then, the Larvesta on the stage suddenly glowed with a strong red light!

The light from its five antennae intensified, like five lit torches, radiating a scorching heat.

At the same time, the five ghostly blue fireballs seemed to be infused with new energy.

Gradually, the cold blue faded, transforming into a fiery crimson, growing larger and higher.

A noticeable heat began to permeate the venue; those in the front rows could clearly feel the temperature rising, their cheeks flushed slightly from the sunlight.

Finally, five fireballs lined up in a row above the stage, each radiating a dazzling red light.

From a distance, they looked like five miniature suns stretching across the sky!

"What...what's going on?" Some audience members couldn't help but swallow hard, gripping their cheering sticks tightly, their eyes fixed on the five fireballs, afraid to miss a single detail.

Just then, the Tyrantrum on the other side of the stage moved.

The sandstorm around it suddenly intensified, countless grains of sand frantically gathering and swirling around it, forming a small sand vortex.

Accompanied by a "crackling" sound, the sand and small pebbles gradually merged and compressed, eventually transforming into five enormous black stones.

Rock Blast skill activated!

These black rocks were nearly half a person's height.

They spun rapidly around the Tyrantrum, creating gusts of wind, like five wax stones poised to unleash their immense power.

"Roar!"

The Tyrantrum roared, its thick tail lashing out like a steel whip, striking one of the rocks precisely!

The rock, whistling through the air, flew straight towards the fireball on the far left of the sky!

The moment the rock struck the fireball, it violently expanded, as if injected with fuel.

The red light it emitted grew even brighter, even causing distorted ripples in the surrounding air.

"Again!"

Lionel's voice rang out at the opportune moment, tinged with excitement.

"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Tyrantrum's tail lashed out in succession, and after four deafening booms, the remaining four rocks shot towards the other four fireballs!

In the end, the original five fireballs became enormous, over two meters in diameter. The black rocks inside burned fiercely in the flames.

They hovered and danced in the air, sometimes colliding and sparking, sometimes brushing past each other, leaving behind dazzling red trails of light.

If you looked closely, you would see fine beads of sweat on Tyrantrum's forehead.

At this moment, it completely controlled the five giant fireballs; each movement, each rotation, required a tremendous amount of physical and mental strength.

The audience below the stage was already stunned, many clenching their fists instinctively, their hearts pounding with tension and excitement as the fireballs danced through the air.

Under everyone's watchful eyes, the five fireballs began to move closer together as they spun.

One merged into another, then another, and so on.

Finally, they combined into one giant fireball, almost two-thirds the size of the stage, hovering steadily above it.

The heat emanating from the fireball was incredibly oppressive; even those in the back rows could feel the scorching heat and instinctively shrank back.
