"W-This is huge!"
A collective gasp rippled through the audience. Everyone held their breath, their eyes glued to the giant fireball.
Their eyes were filled with shock and tension!
What if such a massive fireball were to fall?
The live stream chat was a frenzy, scrolling so fast it was impossible to read the content, only a screen full of astonishment and worry:
[My God! Is this for real? My heart is pounding! What if it goes out of control?]
[What is the streamer trying to do? Is this fireball really going to fall?! It's terrifying, but I can't wait to see it!]
Then, under the watchful eyes of the entire audience, the giant fireball slowly began to descend.
It wasn't fast, but it carried an intense sense of oppression, like a real sun slowly setting.
It pressed down on the two Pokémon in the center of the stage, threatening to engulf them completely.
The scorching heat grew stronger, and the temperature in the arena had noticeably risen. Fine beads of sweat appeared on the foreheads of the front-row spectators.
"Larvesta!"
Lionel shouted, his powerful voice echoing throughout the arena.
The Larvesta suddenly curled into a ball, its entire body transforming into a dazzling little red sphere.
Embraced by the light from its five antennae, it resembled a miniature sun compressed to its extreme, radiating astonishing heat.
Immediately, the Larvesta's five tentacles erupted with intense flames—the "Flame Wheel" skill was activated!
Like a spinning fireball, accompanied by a whistling wind, it hurtled straight towards the giant fireball high above the stage!
The two "suns," one small and one large, rapidly approached each other in the air, the collision seemingly imminent, the tense atmosphere almost suffocating!
"What is the Larvesta doing?!"
"Stop! It's too dangerous!"
A chorus of exclamations erupted from the audience; some even covered their eyes, peering nervously through their fingers at the stage, their hearts in their throats.
However, the anticipated violent explosion did not occur.
Just as the two "suns," one large and one small, made contact, the giant fireball's light abruptly faded, like a tamed beast.
All the heat and light, seemingly controlled by an invisible force, or perhaps finding an outlet, surged wildly towards the Larvesta's body!
The Larvesta's body became incredibly bright at this moment, as if it had truly transformed into the core of the sun.
Carrying this immense, condensed energy, it thrust upwards with a sudden burst!
"Crack!"
A crisp, cracking sound rang out, and the enormous "sun" was shattered by the miniature sun formed by the Larvesta!
Countless red points of light cascaded down like a waterfall, dazzling and spectacular.
Finally, the enormous "sun" completely vanished, leaving only the Larvesta suspended in the air. Each of its three or five tentacles held a bright small fireball, like a miniature sun wearing a crown, its light soft and warm.
And the sand that had once formed the core of the "great sun" had now transformed into stardust carrying firelight, drifting across the stage, serving as the most magnificent backdrop for the Larvesta.
The Tyrantrum let out a long breath, thankfully without a mistake.
The reason the rocks inside the giant sun could be shattered so easily was entirely due to the Tyrantrum's covert manipulation.
During the merging of the fireballs, the Tyrantrum had already used the power of its "sandstorm" to smash the internal rocks into loose gravel.
Only the outer shell of flame remained, allowing the Larvestas to so "easily" disperse it.
A brief silence fell over the entire venue; everyone was still immersed in the shocking scene, speechless.
A few seconds later, someone reacted first and began to applaud vigorously.
"Clap! Clap! Clap!"
The venue!
Applause erupted like wildfire, instantly spreading throughout the entire venue.
The audience excitedly stood up, waving their arms vigorously, cheering and screaming rising and falling!
"Lionel! Lionel!"
"Larvesta! Tyrantrum!"
"Ahhhhh! It's so good!"
Fans held up light boards, their voices hoarse from shouting, but they still couldn't stop.
The live stream chat was a sea of exclamation marks. The server slightly lagged due to the high traffic, but this didn't dampen the viewers' enthusiasm:
[When the Larvesta charged at the fireball, my heart was pounding! And then it unfolded like this… Absolutely amazing!]
[High-energy throughout! My heart was racing with the fireball, and my palms are sweating! The streamer is awesome!]
[Deputy Director Yumiko's expression! Look! I've never seen Yumiko smile so happily!]
On the judges' panel, Ms. Joy and Chairman Sukizo nodded frequently, both praising the performance of the Tyrantrum and the Larvesta.
Deputy Director Yumiko looked at Lionel with a beaming smile, her tone filled with undisguised admiration:
"Chairman Contesta said you were the most imaginative newcomer, it seems he was being conservative. "
After the three judges gave their comments, the high scores brightened up on the big screen, and the cheers from the audience reached a new climax.
Amidst the applause and cheers, Lionel recalled his two Pokémon and calmly walked off the stage.
In the second round of judging, Lionel again impressed the audience with his excellent performance, passing perfectly.
The final battle that followed was even more effortless for Lionel.
At the start of the battle, Tyrantrum unleashed a sandstorm.
Yellow sand filled the sky, instantly enveloping the entire battlefield, not only obscuring the opponent's vision but also continuously damaging the enemy Pokémon.
At the same time, under the cover of the sandstorm, Tyrnantrum secretly began its Dragon Dance.
The Dragon-type energy around its body continuously surged, and its attack and speed increased rapidly.
The opponent was clearly unprepared for Tyrantrum's strength, and in a panic, commanded its Pokémon to move..."
They wanted to avoid the center of the sandstorm.
But before they could even get their footing, they triggered a hidden rock trap set up by the Tyrantrum.
Sharp, invisible rock fragments instantly tore through their skin, causing them considerable pain.
Taking advantage of the moment their opponent's Pokémon was injured, the Tyrantrum burst out of the sandstorm with lightning speed.
It first struck one of the Pokémon with a powerful dragon claw, then swept its tail across, knocking the other Pokémon out of the field.
The whole process was clean and efficient, taking only a few minutes to easily secure victory.
Burrito didn't even have to make a move; the Tyrantrum easily defeated two opponents.
The next opponent was the same; Lionel didn't encounter Grace.
The battle was a piece of cake for the Tyrantrum and Larvesta.
It ended easily.
Without a doubt. In the Fallarbor Town Pokémon Contest, Lionel won one of them.
After the Contest, Lionel stayed at the venue as usual, releasing all his Pokémon to interact with the audience who came to take photos.
