Chapter 206 - Chapter 206 Tyrantrum Returns

Kyogre assumed it was just a nightmare and shook its head vigorously, trying to shake the image of that annoying, bothersome creature from its mind.

Then, Kyogre twisted its body, adjusted its posture, closed its eyes again, enjoying the comfortable, warm seawater, and slowly sank back into sleep.

In Sootopolis City, during the short time Kyogre awoke and fell asleep again, ripples suddenly appeared on the giant lake in the center of the city, and the entire city began to shake violently!

The lake water surged and crashed against the stone steps on the shore with a loud "whoosh," instantly causing panic among the surrounding tourists.

"What's happening?!"

Tourists strolling along the lake cried out, grabbing the railings beside them.

Boats on the lake were tossed up and down like leaves, and the people on board clung tightly to the gunwale in fear.

Some even hastily released their Pidgeot and Skarmory, trying to escape on Flying Pokémon.

"Was that an earthquake?!"

"My jinx! Could my luck be that bad? Is an underwater volcano about to erupt?"

"Don't panic! Everyone stay calm! Sootopolis City occasionally experiences small earthquakes. It's nothing serious. Just stay where you are, it'll be over in a bit."

The crew members shouted to reassure everyone, while inwardly, they were astonished by the unprecedentedly violent tremor.

In their memory, the city only experienced slight tremors, never anything this intense.

Could it be Kyogre?!

Am I going to become a prophet?......…

The tremor lasted for about half a minute before gradually subsiding, leaving behind a mess:

Fallen hats, overturned stalls, and still-shaken people. The lake returned to calm, as if the commotion had never happened.

But the tourists' shock didn't fade; instead, the chatter grew louder.

"That scared me to death…that was terrifying!"

"I was thinking of moving here because this city is so beautiful, but now I wouldn't dare."

At this moment, inside the Sootopolis Gym, Juan was instructing Wallace on the precautions for the upcoming Water Festival.

In the storage room deep within the gym, countless Water Stones and Mystic Water Drops, emitting a soft blue light, were piled up, along with polished pearls, scales, and other items exuding a rich water elemental aura.

These were all gifts prepared specifically for this Water Festival.

"I wonder if Kyogre will show up this year. I haven't seen it in so long, I miss it," Juan said with a hint of reminiscence in his eyes.

The two were talking when, before they could finish speaking, a violent tremor suddenly struck!

Water stones tumbled from the shelves in the storage room, clattering and crashing; the necklace around Wallace's neck also began to flicker, its blue light flashing intermittently.

The master and apprentice exchanged a glance, both seeing shock in each other's eyes.

"Master, this is…" Wallace suddenly stood up, stroking the necklace around his neck, and said:

"Kyogre, has it woken up early? There are still a few days until the festival. This has never happened before."

Juan frowned. He walked to the window, quietly gazing in the direction of the central lake, then, as if remembering something, a smile appeared on his face:

"I don't know, but this is a good thing. Kyogre has woken up early; maybe we'll have a chance to see it again this year.

Quickly contact Steven and the League, tell them about this, and ask them to send another batch of water-type items and high-level energy cubes, water stones, water crystals, deep-sea pearls… the more the better!"

A glimmer of anticipation flashed in Juan's eyes:

"Maybe Kyogre will really appear this year!"

"Okay! I'll go now!" Wallace didn't hesitate any longer, turned around and quickly walked out of the stone chamber, his fingertips already dialing the communicator.

Lionel was unaware of the conversation inside the gym; he was currently on Metagross.

The instant the earthquake struck, Metagross had immediately sprung from its Poké Ball, using its psychic powers to switch to flight mode, transferring its trainer onto its body, intending to take off and escape should anything go wrong.

Now, seeing it was just a misunderstanding and there was no danger, it relaxed and used its psychic powers to place Lionel on the ground.

The Vulpix in Lionel's arms happily shook its head, rubbing against Lionel's neck, treating what had just happened as a game, finding it fun and wanting to do it again.

Interrupted by Vulpix's actions, Lionel also stopped thinking, soothing the frightened Vulpix,

and then rubbing Vulpix's chin, deciding to head to the Pokémon Center to pick up Tyrantrum.

The most important thing right now was to bring Tyrantrum back to prepare for the upcoming Contest. Lionel strode towards the Pokémon Center. As he pushed open the door, Nurse Joy was busy calming the Pokémon that had been startled by the tremors.

Lionel walked to the Pokémon Teleporter, selected a connection area, and initiated a video call with Granny.

The call connected quickly. On the screen, Granny's kind smile appeared. Behind her, a Tyrantrum was playfully fighting with the "fake Tyrantrum" forms created by Ditto.

"Grandma, could you please bring Tyrantrum back? The Pokemon Contest is about to start, and it needs to practice with the Larvesta."

"No problem, don't worry. Go back and see how your Tyrantrum is doing with our training. It'll definitely exceed your expectations.

When Tyrantrum has time, let it come back. There are many other companions waiting for it here."

Grandma looked at Tyrantrum with some reluctance. Such a good breeding dragon—no, such a majestic and powerful Tyrantrum.

It's such a pity it can't stay in the Dragon Land longer, leaving behind its excellent offspring. Only a few of them have become pregnant; it's simply not enough.

Lionel knew what Grandma was thinking, but since Tyrantrum seemed to be enjoying itself, Lionel naturally didn't mind.

"Alright, Granny, when the Tyrantrum wants to go back, I'll send it back."

Granny Lionel smiled broadly upon hearing this, stroking the Tyrantrum beside her:

"Tyrantrum, remember to come back when you have time. There's plenty of good food here. We'll prepare whatever you want. And your little female dragon companions really want you to come back and play with them.

Your trainer said that if you want to come back, just tell him, and I'll be waiting for you here anytime."

The Tyrantrum looked at its "Tyrantrums" rubbing against it reluctantly, nodded to Granny Lionel, indicating that it knew and would definitely come back.

Then, the Tyrantrum bid farewell to its harem of concubines and entered its Poké Ball.

A few minutes later, the teleportation platform in the Pokémon Center lit up with white light. Lionel took out the Tyrantrum's Poké Ball and walked out of the Pokémon Center.

Finding an open area nearby, I released all the Pokémon, including Tyrantrum, Milotic, and others.
