Blank and Flykra exchanged a bewildered look as Rukiyo's fear intensified— neither of them quite understanding her hesitation.
To them, it's just another forest; they can't feel the danger the way she can through the system warning, nor could see the floating screen that flashed with bold, red letters that caused Rukiyo to become stiff.
"Why are you hesitating?" Flykra asked bluntly, his tone laced with skepticism.
Rukiyo flinched at Flykra's question, her throat bobbing as she struggled to come up with an excuse.
Her grip on his arm loosens slightly, her expression flickering between panic and forced calm.
"N-nothing." She stammered out, a nervous laugh following her words. "I just.. Thought I saw a bug! Haha.."
Her voice wavered on the lie, making it obvious that something was off, but it's not like she could just blurt out that she has a floating screen in front of her— do they even know what a screen looks like?
