Julien stared at his phone. He knew Lydia would be upset, but he never thought she would be that upset. He let out a big sigh. He leaned back to his seat. He realized he's been sighing a lot these days. His head and his heart were a mess. Even his body was starting to follow. Lydia, the bank, and now his childhood friend, Adrien, everything weigh heavy on his mind.
"Dammit, where the fuck are you, Adrien?"
Julien look at his watch. 12:30 pm. He had about thirty minutes before the meeting. He reached for his phone, scroll through the names of the people that he recently called, and click a name near the top.
The phone rang for a while. Julien knew this person was not the type to ignore his call, so for him to took this long to pick up the phone, he must've been busy at the moment. He was about to ended the call when a familiar voice answered.
