Sebastian had been in her room for some time now, waiting for her to come out of the bathroom. He had been furious with her, so furious that if he hadn't left when he did earlier, he knew he would have lost his temper entirely at her indifference to his words about not marking her. She hadn't cared at all, hadn't even felt the need to ask why.
That was the behavior of someone who didn't give a damn.
It had hurt something deep inside him, because he had been working so hard to chase her, wanting not only to make things up to her but also to make her warm up to him and help her wolf awaken.
But the senseless little rabbit hadn't had the sense to tell him that she carried another man's mark, and had gone ahead and told him to invite that very man here, when she should have been putting as much distance between herself and him as possible to let the mark fade.
