Lia's parents were incredibly surprised. They hadn't expected their child to be so sensible. Thinking back to how heartlessly they had exiled such a young child, they were overcome with shame. They secretly felt lucky that Lia and Qin Yan had been sent to the same place, or they didn't even want to imagine what would have happened.
No one expected Qin Yan to speak this way to risk his life just to save his parents. Was this still the "Warrior Race" Saiyans they knew? Everyone was stunned, as if they were hearing major news. After all, Saiyans worshipped battle and conquest.
They respected only the strong, followed the law of the jungle, and looked down on the weak. They didn't care for the lives of "ants." Qin Yan's words were both shocking and a cause for self-mockery.
"Then, Qin Yan... can you take Tora and the others and leave Planet Vegeta?" Bardock asked with a pleading look.
"What? What about you, Bardock? If you're not leaving, what are you planning?" Tora and the others were caught off guard. They hadn't expected Bardock to plead with Qin Yan to take them away. Hearing that Bardock didn't intend to go, they nervously pressed him for his intentions.
"I'm staying to fight Frieza," Bardock said, his expression grave.
"What? That's out of the question! If you're staying to fight, then we're staying to fight too!" Tora and the team were stunned. It seemed like madness, but they knew Bardock's nature. He was a man of deep loyalty and ethnic pride. Once he made a decision, his mind was set. As his team, they naturally chose to stand and fight by his side.
"What? You... all of you... Sigh! you don't need to choose a meaningless sacrifice like me. As long as a single bloodline remains, we Saiyans can make a comeback one day. Fine! So be it!" Bardock hadn't expected his teammates to trust him so much, facing life and death without a hint of fear. He could only let out a helpless sigh.
"We want to stay and fight too," Qin Yan and Lia's parents suddenly stepped forward. They wanted to contribute their strength to Planet Vegeta.
"Don't join in on the chaos. Since I'm here, I'm not letting you go. If you insist, I'll just knock you unconscious and carry you out myself." Seeing his parents trying to join the fray, Qin Yan felt a surge of annoyance. He immediately shut down their "childish" ideas.
"What? Son... but..." Qin Yan's parents didn't expect him to be so blunt, leaving them with no choice.
"No buts. If you don't believe me, try it. I'll send you away right now," Qin Yan said firmly, leaving no room for negotiation.
Staring at the assertive Qin Yan, Lia and Qin Yan's parents looked at each other with bitter smiles. Qin Yan's father, Benas, wanted to speak, but his mother held him back. The four of them stayed in place, having clearly accepted Qin Yan's arrangement.
"Qin Yan, I have one more request," Bardock said solemnly.
"Go on, let's hear it." Qin Yan was surprised; he hadn't expected Bardock to ask for a favor like this. This was getting interesting.
"Could you take my wife, Gine, and my son, Kakarot, with you? Please look after them in the future." Bardock spoke as if he were giving his final testament. It seemed he was truly prepared for a fight to the death with Frieza.
Qin Yan didn't answer immediately. He fell into thought. He hadn't expected Bardock to ask him to take Goku along. Seeing his silence, Bardock grew tense, fearing he wouldn't agree. After a moment, Qin Yan looked up at the nervous Bardock and smiled. "Fine. I promise you."
Bardock let out a long sigh of relief. With his worries gone, his body seemed to relax instantly.
"However," Qin Yan pivoted, making Bardock's heart jump again. "However what?" he asked nervously.
Qin Yan chuckled at his anxiety. "Don't worry. It's just that I won't be taking your son, Kakarot, with me. I believe you've seen it after the Planet Kanassa incident, didn't you dream of strange things? Didn't you see Kakarot's future?"
"What? You even know about that? Yes, you're right. Who... who are you?" Bardock was shocked, a storm brewing in his mind. The others were confused, wondering what dreams they were talking about.
"Who I am doesn't matter. I'm just an ordinary person. But I can tell you, those weren't just dreams. Just as the Kanassans said, you have obtained Future Sight. You're seeing scenes of what will eventually happen.
That's why I won't take Kakarot. He has his own fate and his own life. Let him go where he was originally meant to go. I look forward to seeing him grow." Qin Yan spoke with total sincerity.
"I see. I didn't believe it at first, but if that's the case, then never mind." Bardock realized the truth. He was still curious how Qin Yan knew so much, but he didn't ask. He knew Qin Yan wouldn't tell him even if he did.
"Alright, since you're worried, let's send Kakarot off first. We should also send away the other infants in the Baby Incubation Chamber while we're at it. Sending them off will draw less of Frieza's attention and ensure our race survives." Qin Yan offered the suggestion calmly.
"Good! That's a great idea!"
The others' eyes lit up. They all agreed it was a brilliant plan and nodded in unison.
The group didn't delay any longer and immediately moved out. Before long, they arrived at the nursery and cleared out all the guards. They prepared to send the infants off in space pods. There were hundreds of incubation units in this location.
With everyone working together, hundreds of round space pods carrying the hope of the Saiyans ascended into the vast starry sky. It was such a massive spectacle that Saiyans all over the planet looked up in confusion, wondering what was happening. They assumed a massive army was being launched to conquer some powerful new planet.
Finally, they came to Kakarot. He was the only one left. Looking at the sleeping little Goku, they all felt a sense of awe; these children were the seeds of hope for the Saiyans.
Qin Yan looked at little Goku and smiled. His journey was about to begin, and the main story was about to start. He wondered what kind of interesting clashes they would have in the future.
Goku's destination was Earth, which Qin Yan supervised personally. From the control panel, Qin Yan also learned Earth's spatial coordinates, which would make things much easier later.
Under Bardock's operation, Goku was placed into a space pod and moved to the spaceport for launch.
With a loud bang, the ship accelerated into the sky at incredible speed.
"Kakarot..." Bardock whispered as he watched the ship leave, his thoughts known only to him.
I hope Goku has a safe journey. Qin Yan watched the departing ship with anticipation.
Goku was gone!
Goodbye, Goku!
