Chapter 78 - Chapter 78: Finally Reaching Earth

Within the vast, boundless expanse of the cosmic starry sky, the Milky Way stretched across the universe for countless billions of light-years like a trail of fine silver sand.

It was like a surging great river, flowing slowly from east to south. The brilliant stars twinkled frequently with bright light, resembling crystal-clear diamonds and precious jades. These densely packed stars were scattered randomly across the dark celestial backdrop, adding a mysterious breath of life to the cold universe.

North Galaxy.

Southern Star Area.

There sat a beautiful azure planet.

Its name was Earth.

It was a stunning planet filled with magical colors, home to a rising, nascent civilization.

Although Earth's level of civilization was nothing to speak of compared to the myriad civilizations across the universe lacking their development and being overlooked by the most advanced societies it possessed infinite potential. So long as it was given time to accumulate and develop, there was no doubt that the name "Earth" would eventually stand among the advanced civilizations of the universe.

Moreover, at this moment, such an unremarkable planet actually possessed an inscrutable martial arts civilization.

One martial arts prodigy after another had broken the limits of the human body, researching and creating a brilliant path of martial arts that was passed down from generation to generation.

Currently, in a jungle region in Earth's Northern Hemisphere, a flash of white light suddenly appeared in mid-air, as brilliant as a flickering star.

As the white light dissipated, two thin figures appeared in the sky. They were none other than Qin Yan and Little Liya, who had just used Instant Transmission to arrive.

They were like birds, suspended and floating in the sky.

Qin Yan scanned the surrounding environment. Taking in the familiar face of the Dragon Ball world's Earth, he knew they had arrived.

It was an alternative version of his home. After many years, he had finally returned to the beautiful and familiar blue sky.

At this moment, Qin Yan's heart was filled with an excitement and agitation he could barely suppress.

It was the joy of a traveler returning home. He felt like a lost star that had returned to the embrace of the galaxy—familiar yet strange, awakening memories hidden deep within his heart.

Like a blue dragon returning to its lair, ten thousand thoughts flooded his mind all at once. His endless joy was mixed with a touch of anticipation.

Qin Yan opened his arms wide to embrace this beautiful moment. Then, without a word, he opened his mouth and took a deep breath of Earth's fresh air. It was a familiar scent. Qin Yan squinted his eyes, greedily and drunkenly breathing in the sweet air. His entire being felt refreshed; this was the scent of nature from his homeland!

"Is this the Earth you're always thinking about and mentioning, Brother Qin Yan? The environment feels similar to Planet Prodaranaphack! The gravity seems to be only a tenth of Planet Vegeta's. I wonder what magical thing about this place attracts you?"

While Qin Yan was immersed in the joy of his homecoming, a voice filled with doubt suddenly rang out. It was Little Liya. She hadn't noticed Qin Yan's emotional state; instead, she was curiously surveying their surroundings. Looking at the ordinary scenery, she knit her pretty brows and asked her question.

"Haha! That's because you don't know the half of it," Qin Yan laughed. He was in high spirits.

After calming his emotions slightly, he continued slowly, "Although Earth looks plain and unremarkable, and this kind of terrain is common throughout the universe, you must not look down on it.

Even though it is a lower-level planet and its civilization isn't advanced, it has infinite potential. Moreover, it has a very deep martial arts civilization. There are some incredible martial arts concepts here. The cultivation methods and power control techniques I taught you were all learned from this place."

"W-What? Is that true, Brother Qin Yan?"

Liya spoke in shock, her face displaying an expression of disbelief. She knew how powerful the cultivation methods Qin Yan taught were. Just the ability to freely control one's own power was something many races in the universe struggled to achieve. This alone showed how prosperous Earth's martial arts civilization must be.

"Of course! Earth's martial arts are like a hundred flowers blooming together; there are countless schools and styles displaying their own brilliance."

Qin Yan wasn't lying. Although he had never been to the Earth of the Dragon Ball world before, the training methods of the Turtle School did indeed originate from the great master, Master Roshi.

Hearing this, Liya's eyes flickered like twinkling stars. She had never seen Qin Yan hold anyone or anything in such high regard. Even the incomparably powerful Frieza and Cooler weren't worth a second glance to her brother, yet he was so full of praise for an unknown planet. It was clear there was something extraordinary about it.

"Hee-hee! Since Brother Qin Yan knows it so well, you have to take Liya around to see the sights!"

Little Liya's eyes darted around before she spoke with a sly smile.

"Hahaha! Alright, I won't forget about you. Come on, let's find a place with people first. We'll change our outfits and then I'll take you on a proper tour."

Qin Yan laughed heartily. He knew exactly what the little girl was thinking—she just wanted him to accompany her and play. She really was a mischievous little thing.

"Mm-hmm!" Little Liya nodded excitedly.

Qin Yan then scanned the area. He sensed a large amount of human thermal signatures to the southeast, so he turned to Liya and said, "There are signs of humans not far off in that direction. Let's go. We'll head over and take a look."

"Okay!" Liya replied sweetly.

With that, the two set off immediately, flying slowly toward the southeast.

White clouds drifted lazily, and a gentle breeze caressed their faces. The azure sky was as flawless as a mirror, and warm sunlight filtered through the leaves, scattering spots of light throughout the forest.

Whoosh!

The two figures flew at a low altitude, skimming over the lush forest. Wherever they passed, the dark green woods below rustled loudly, startling several birds and sending smaller animals scurrying deep into the jungle in fright.

Qin Yan and Liya soared through the sky above the forest. Because of the vast field of vision, the horizon ahead presented a perfect white curve.

After crossing hills and grasslands and flying for over a dozen kilometers, a human town finally came into view.

The town was surrounded by several mountains, followed by a vast forest. Aside from the hunters who ventured into the mountains year-round, few residents ever left the area. They lived a peaceful and tranquil life there.
