One of the men standing behind Jack suddenly stepped forward slightly.
"Let's attack them," he said with a harsh voice. "They'll only hinder our progress."
Several others immediately agreed.
"Yes. Red will not like it when he finds out another group is here."
"If we let them live, they'll keep clearing the dungeon and take the rewards."
"When Red learns about it, we'll be the ones that he punished!"
The murmurs quickly grew louder. More people began speaking.
"We should kill them now."
"There are only nine of them."
"We outnumber them."
The tension that had filled the battlefield suddenly turned violent.
The survivors behind Jack slowly tightened their grips on their weapons. Their earlier fear began turning into hostility after seeing Myle's group number.
They were tired, exhausted, and mentally strained. And now they had found a target for their frustration.
