Jack wanted to stop everything. For a split second, a strange thought rose in his mind. He wanted to undo this moment and reset the situation somehow and return to the point before the first attack had been launched. Just like what he did with the armored warriors before.
But a second later the thought collapsed.
They were not fighting dungeon monsters.
These were humans. Another group that had entered the dungeon from a different rift. There was no reset for something like this.
The moment they chose to attack, the battle had already begun. And now they were trapped inside it.
Jack forced himself to look around the battlefield.
It didn't look good.
Myles' group moved across the grass with terrifying aggression. Their movements were sharp and controlled. Their attacks were deliberate. Every skill they used carried lethal intent.
They didn't hesitate and didn't panic.
They kept pressing forward and cutting through Jack's formation.
