Chapter 218 - Chapter 218: Time Cabin

On the other side, because Gothitelle had been waiting for Shauna for a long time without her showing up, she was just about to go to the school to take a look when she received a message from Lucas.

It was a video of Shauna sitting on Lapras's back.

"Gothitelle, Sister Cynthia picked me up to go back to the Breeding House. I can't come to help today, sorry."

After watching the video, Gothitelle smiled and put away her phone.

She went to the wall of the Dessert Shop. A door had appeared there at some point; she pushed it open and entered another room.

Inside were some tables and many toys.

Several children were leaning over the tables, seriously doing the homework assigned by their teachers.

A few other children were playing with toys. Seeing Gothitelle arrive, they put down their toys and gathered around.

"Is the Cabin busy today? Do you want us to go help?"

Gothitelle shook her head and patted their little heads one by one.

This action was exactly the same as Lucas's.

She told them that Shauna wouldn't be coming today, then told those who needed to do homework to do it, and those who finished could come to the Cabin to play.

Some children followed Gothitelle to the Cabin. Smelling the aroma filling the Cabin, Gothitelle signaled them to choose a bread or dessert they liked for free.

The children scattered with laughter. After picking their favorite pastries, they went to the Cabin's entrance. Seeing passersby, they would run up with a smile and ask if they wanted to buy pastries.

Some even shared a bit of the pastries they were reluctant to eat with passersby for a taste, so they would come in and buy.

Gothitelle laughed happily at the sight.

These children were there because their parents were busy and didn't have time to pick them up; they would run to the Cabin themselves, stand outside smelling the tempting aroma, and wait for their parents to come for them.

It was Shauna who had invited them into the Cabin and asked if she could give them some treats. After Gothitelle nodded, Shauna gave them some delicious pastries. Since then, they would come every day to wait for their parents.

Sometimes they would even help the Cabin attract customers.

Business at the Cabin had long since returned to normal. Many people came to buy every day, but it was no longer so crowded as to be impassable like at the beginning.

So only Snorunt, Pinsir, and Heracross stayed to help at the Cabin, while the other Pokémon returned to the Breeding House.

As the children came more often, some parents developed a mutual understanding. Every time, they would come directly to the Cabin instead of going to the school first. Before leaving, they would buy some bread for tomorrow's breakfast or bring snacks from elsewhere as a thank-you gift, which Gothitelle did not refuse.

Later, some parents felt it wasn't good for their children to always stay in the Cabin as it might affect business. They discussed it, and a representative came to discuss it with Gothitelle. Gothitelle informed Lucas, and after the two discussed it, the parents planned to pool their funds to rent the shop next door and renovate it into a room where they could study and play. In the future, children could finish their homework here first and then go to the Cabin to play, or just stay in the room, though they still needed Gothitelle and the others to look after them.

Lucas asked Gothitelle, and Gothitelle nodded.

She really liked these children.

They were simple, kind, and cute, and sometimes under the lead of Shauna and Pinsir, they would cause some small mischief, making her angry but also unable to stop laughing.

Originally these children were very obedient, but since Shauna arrived, everything seemed to have changed.

They became rowdy, but they also became happy.

This was the scene she loved to see most.

Mime Jr. had its own things to do, Lucas and the others had their own things to do, and she had also found what she wanted to do.

Perhaps this was also the meaning behind Lucas naming this place the Time Cabin.

He hoped it could leave a deep impression on the children. Perhaps when they grow up, they will remember there was such a place, such Pokémon, and such delicious food that accompanied them in their childhood.

Thinking of this, Gothitelle became even happier.

Lucas also strongly agreed. If anything could leave the deepest memory, it would probably be the happy times of childhood.

After the parents discussed with Lucas, they rejected his idea of contributing money.

Lucas helping to look after their children was already enough trouble. If they let Lucas pay as well, they would be laughed at by their friends and relatives in town.

Finally, this nameless small room next to Miss Gothitelles Time Cabin officially opened. The children would spontaneously finish their homework here and then play with Snorunt, Shinx, and Kricketot.

Gothitelle would always bring some Forest Pokémon that liked interacting with humans to accompany the children.

The children were happy, the Forest Pokémon were happy, and she was happy hearing their laughter.

She remembered once when Lucas came to the Cabin, a little girl ran over with a test paper and handed it to him with a blushing face.

Lucas took it curiously, looked at it, and then handed it to Gothitelle with a smile. Gothitelle took it.

Topic: Is there a place in your memory that makes you very happy? If so, where is it?

Answer: Miss Gothitelles Time Cabin.

Because my parents work, they rarely pick me up from school on time, but I'm not worried at all because I have Miss Gothitelles Time Cabin. Gothitelle and the others are so good, and there's Shauna, and two Big Beetles. The Two-horned One always bullies the One-horned One, so annoying. And Snorunt, it's so cool and comfortable to hold. And Lucas, he's a really good person.

At the Cabin, I can eat lots of delicious food and do my homework well. I didn't have many friends before, but here I've met many, many, many friends. They are just like me, their parents can't pick them up on time, so we became best friends.

I really love the Cabin. I hope it can stay open forever and I hope I can stay here forever.

Many parts were ungrammatical and there were even typos, but Gothitelle could see the sincere emotions within.

This essay received a very high score.

Lucas was very happy then. He was happy to have such a place that children could remember in their hearts. Perhaps one day in the future, in their spare time, they would think of that little cabin from their childhood.

The people, Pokémon, and food inside had all brought them joy and happiness.

Gothitelle finally knew why this place was called 'Miss Gothitelles Time Cabin'.

It would forever preserve their past happy times until one day when they returned, they could find their happiest childhood memories here.

She would leave them with the most beautiful and precious memory.

At this moment, a guest walked in under the introduction of a child.

Gothitelle snapped back to reality and walked forward.

"Gothitelle~"

Welcome~

And.

You did a great job.
