Chapter 324 - Chapter 324: Pluck feathers from a passing goose, leave behind clouds after it passes.

Celebi flew up from Akari's arms, then flew to the top of Lucas's head and settled down comfortably.

Feeling the weight on his head, Lucas's serious expression instantly crumbled.

Even so, he continued to stare at the three clouds in the sky, waiting for Landorus to provide a suitable solution.

"We will help restore this place to its original state."

Landorus's voice echoed in the depths of Lucas's heart.

Landorus can speak too? Lucas was somewhat surprised.

He shook his head. "Not enough."

"I will convert the energy of the lightning and storms into earth energy and feed it back into this land. For the next few decades, the soil here will be fertile, and the harvests will be bountiful."

Lucas shook his head again.

Landorus gritted its teeth, glanced at Tornadus and Thundurus, and finally said, "We will protect this place together from natural disasters for ten years."

Seeing that Lucas was still unsatisfied, Landorus let out a roar.

"Then I won't bother anymore!"

Landorus simply washed its hands of the matter. It had originally come to stop Tornadus and Thundurus, yet it was expected to clean up their mess.

Since the dawn of lightning and storms, they have coexisted and fought one another. After the storms and lightning pass, the earth always absorbs the energy left behind, thereby enriching itself.

Thus, Landorus has always been constantly calming the conflicts between Tornadus and Thundurus, then bringing prosperity to the damaged earth; this is also a law of nature.

Now that Tornadus and Thundurus had been calmed by outside intervention, Landorus's duty as the one responsible for pacifying them was limited to bringing a bountiful harvest to this devastated land.

As for what happened to Tornadus and Thundurus, that was not within its scope of duty. Known as the God of Fields, it would fulfill its duty and bring abundance to the farmland.

It had already offered significant compensation just to clean up after Tornadus and Thundurus. If it were to add anything more, it would be impossible.

"You should understand that since the birth of the earth, storms and lightning cannot be absent. And after the storms and lightning, the earth must welcome a bountiful harvest. This is the meaning of our existence."

Landorus stared at Lucas standing in front of the Cave and spoke, "We will not stay in one place forever. Their struggle will never end, and I will always fulfill my duty to dissuade them. This is the law of this world."

"This will not be the first, nor will it be the last region."

"Only after a disaster can there be vibrant life."

Lucas could not refute it because what Landorus said was correct.

Since the beginning of humanity, they have always relied on the earth. However, the earth's fertility and harvests are not eternal. Disasters, from another perspective, are also a way for the land to become fertile.

Furthermore, the biggest problem didn't lie with Landorus and the others, but with himself.

They did not belong to this timeline.

But he was still very upset; his favorite village had been ruined beyond recognition.

He had already beaten up Dialga and Palkia; these two wouldn't make much of a difference.

Lucas looked at Landorus. "What you say makes a lot of sense, but right now, I just want to give them a beating. Are you going to intervene?"

Landorus glanced at the injured Tornadus and Thundurus, then looked at the wound on its own arm, which still throbbed with a faint pain.

Landorus flew directly to the side.

"Roar!"

Tornadus: You're just leaving like that?

"Roar!"

Thundurus: I told you it couldn't be relied on!

Landorus crossed its arms, its eyes cold.

I'm not stupid, I'm afraid of pain too. Besides, they want to hit you guys, not me.

Thinking of this, Landorus even gave Lucas a special look and nodded very politely, informing Lucas that he could begin.

It had long been annoyed with them as well. Now, it didn't have to do anything but stand to the side and watch them get beaten up, listening to their screams of agony—

Hiss~ Why does the more I think about it, the more exciting it gets?

Landorus felt that something was missing at this moment, but it didn't know what.

Just then, its shoulder was patted. It turned around and saw a large, chubby face looking at it with a beaming smile.

It recognized this Gengar and looked at it in confusion, curious about what it wanted.

Gengar pulled out two cans of snacks. "Gen gengar~"

Want some?

Landorus tentatively took some and took a bite.

That's right, this is exactly what was missing.

Now nothing was lacking.

After finishing, it looked at Gengar and pointed to the snacks in its arms, asking if it could share some more.

Gengar chewed on a snack and then generously stuffed a can into Landorus's hands.

Eat as much as you want, there's plenty.

This Gengar doesn't seem so bad after all—

Landorus thought to itself.

If these words were heard by a certain Queen, that Queen would probably give a cold laugh and say:

Just don't regret it later.

"Garchomp, beat them to within an inch of their lives."

Lucas looked at Garchomp and said.

Garchomp gave him a slight glance and didn't react at all.

Lucas: ————

To the side, Akari couldn't help but burst out laughing.

Seeing Lucas look at her, she quickly covered her mouth, her head shaking like a rattle.

"It wasn't me, I wasn't laughing."

Lucas's face was covered in black lines.

I haven't even said anything yet, and you've already confessed.

"Garchomp, beat them to within an inch of their lives."

The moment Cynthia's voice fell, Garchomp directly transformed into a Dragon Rush and slammed into Tornadus and Thundurus.

"Darkrai, Latias, Gengar—never mind. Darkrai, you and Latias go up and help."

Lucas saw Gengar, who was completely engrossed in eating snacks and watching the show with Landorus, and turned to ask Darkrai and Latias for help instead.

Before long, Latias and Darkrai flew back to Lucas's side.

Lucas gave them a questioning look.

Darkrai waved its hand. "That one won't let us intervene."

Darkrai shook its head, then flew over to Gengar and Landorus to join them in eating snacks and watching the show.

Meanwhile, Latias quietly flew beside Lucas and entered an invisible state.

"It can handle them, don't worry about it."

Latias's charming voice entered Lucas's mind.

Who's worried about Garchomp? I'm worried about those two.

Watching Tornadus and Thundurus being continuously ravaged by Garchomp, Lucas said in his heart.

Garchomp really is incredibly fierce—

"Sister Cynthia, Garchomp is so strong."

Akari said softly beside Cynthia.

Cynthia turned to look at her with a smile and reached out to rub her head. "I believe you will become even stronger."

"Really?"

Akari's eyes lit up, and Cynthia nodded.

She had a premonition that this young girl would become an extremely powerful Trainer in the future.

After Garchomp had finished venting its anger, it patted its scythes and flew back to Cynthia's side.

"Hard work."

Cynthia stretched out her hands, and Garchomp lowered its head, feeling Cynthia's touch.

"Landorus, it's time to fulfill your promise."

Hearing Lucas's words, Landorus looked at Tornadus and Thundurus, who had been beaten into swollen messes. It forced itself not to laugh out loud, let out two heavy coughs, but still couldn't help letting out a couple of snickers as it passed by them.

Tornadus and Thundurus were just about to get angry when they saw Lucas and Cynthia smiling at them, and they immediately pulled back their necks.

Endure it, just endure it.

Landorus came to the center and spread its hands. All the energy scattered in the sky was collected by it and then returned to the earth under Lucas's feet in an extremely gentle manner.

A ray of sunlight pierced through the dark clouds and spilled onto the earth, followed by a second ray, a third...

Until the sunlight completely broke through the clouds, and the Hisui region was once again shrouded in sunlight.

Drip, drip, drip-drop.

A sunshower began to fall.

After doing all this, Landorus looked at Lucas. "For the next ten years, this place will be free from unnecessary disaster attacks, but we will only protect it from natural disasters."

Lucas nodded; that was only natural.

"For the next thirty years, the weather here will be favorable and the harvests bountiful. After thirty years, this land will return to its original state."

Landorus's voice was somewhat weak.

Lucas nodded with a smile.

Landorus had also bestowed a portion of its own power upon this land.

This guy Landorus is really someone you can count on.

"Thank you for your hard work, Landorus."

Lucas had Gothitelle take a bowl of restorative Herbal Medicine, float into the air, and hand it to Landorus.

This was the Herbal Medicine Lucas had just asked Gothitelle to brew in the Cave for the villagers to consume.

Landorus felt the life energy contained within the Herbal Medicine. It accepted it without hesitation and drank it all in one gulp.

"Landorus."

Lucas suddenly spoke, and Landorus looked at him.

Lucas revealed a very friendly smile. "If—and I mean if—in the future, perhaps hundreds or thousands of years from now, you meet a certain person, you might as well say hello to him. Maybe he'll invite you to the Breeding House for some tea."

Landorus squinted its eyes at Lucas, then looked at Celebi on top of his head.

Realizing something, it nodded.

After that, it left the area.

Tornadus and Thundurus didn't get any Herbal Medicine, so they could only leave with their bodies covered in injuries.

Lucas: What are you thinking? You two want to drink Herbal Medicine too? You're as ugly as your dreams are beautiful.
