Chapter 198 - The Encounter Between the First and Last Savior

"Using the power of the Third Perpetual Motion Machine... is it possible to bombard the South Pole directly with Rhongomyniad?"

Kawashima Toya began to simulate the feasibility of his plan.

Countless streams of data flooded his mind as he used the computational capacity of the Perpetual Motion Machine to calculate the trajectory required to launch the Holy Lance from his current position to the other side of the world.

Meanwhile, at the North Pole.

Alwassa, the Silent One—an Evil God who resembled a twisted, grotesque infant—seemed to sense the impending threat. It immediately emitted a howl that sounded deceptively like the singing of angels.

The song was melodious and beautiful, yet it carried an eerie, maddening aura that began to erode reality across the entire polar region.

"I can't hesitate. Alwassa has sensed me!"

Toya opened his eyes abruptly, a cold, sharp glint flashing through them. "The Evil God has foreseen my actions. I must strike now."

"Autopilot engaged. Return to the estate."

With that command, he stepped out of the Trash Fox Jet.

The jet ignited its thrusters, trailing brilliant blue flames as it banked sharply and began its return journey to the estate.

Toya stood suspended in the high atmosphere, his calm gaze fixed on the North Pole where the Evil God was forcibly accelerating its awakening. "Give it up. You won't be waking up today."

"Here and now, the Savior manifests!"

A magnificent, resounding voice echoed through the heavens.

At this moment, Toya entered the Savior state for the second time.

The boundless power of the world surged toward him in a frenzy. The planet itself stood completely on his side, granting him the authority to protect it.

"This is enough."

His body erupting with brilliant light, Toya looked toward the distant South Pole with eyes shining like galaxies. "More than enough!"

The coordinates of the South Pole, originally vague due to the distance, became crystal clear in his mind. With the world's guidance, his Noble Phantasm would not miss.

Sensing Toya's intent, the two halves of the Evil God at the poles began to struggle violently.

The angel-like song intensified, carrying endless chaos and madness as it swept toward him in a psychic wave.

"Useless."

Toya's expression remained impassive as he slowly raised the lance in his hand.

The holy shroud wrapping the weapon unraveled bit by bit, revealing the brilliant, divine shaft of light underneath.

"I've expanded the land, built cities, crossed the ocean, and split the heavens.."

"All for... what...? Holy Lance, tell me of the end!"

Toya chanted the True Name of the Noble Phantasm aloud.

"Rhongomyniad!"

Vmm—

In an instant, the shaft of light erupted with blinding brilliance.

Countless mysteries from the Age of Gods poured forth, forming an impossibly massive, spiraling lance of pure energy.

Its majestic, holy aura formed a barrier, blocking the corrupting influence radiating from the North Pole.

"Go. Expel the South Pole from this world."

Enveloped in the aura of the Age of Gods, Toya gathered every ounce of his power and hurled Rhongomyniad toward the southern end of the planet.

BOOM!

The Holy Lance was released with explosive force, piercing through space and obliterating the cloud layers in its wake.

The boundless ocean was split in two by the sheer pressure of the Noble Phantasm, which now had all thirteen restraints released.

Shocking waves, thousands of meters high, rose along its trajectory, parting the seas like the Red Sea of legend.

This strike contained the strongest attack Toya could muster, carrying his invincible will to crush all adversaries.

The South Pole was destined to be knocked out of the world's texture. Now, only the North Pole remained.

In his Savior state, Toya's strike was virtually unstoppable. Any entity attempting to block it would have to face the weight of the entire world.

Heaven, the Demon World...

Powerful beings looked on in shock and uncertainty as the light tore through the atmosphere.

"What is he doing? Challenging an Evil God head-on?"

"The Savior of the Human World? Is he trying to imitate the First Emperor from thousands of years ago?"

"Oh my, the little guy is quite impressive."

On a certain mountain peak, the Quetzalcoatl Dragon, Lucoa smiled as she watched the display of power. "He exceeded my expectations."

"Tohru made a very correct choice."

"Perhaps I should make up my mind as well?"

In this moment, countless factions held their breath, waiting for the conclusion of this battle.

They waited to see if Toya could achieve the impossible, or if he would be annihilated by the Outer God.

.....

At the North Pole, Toya slowly drew the Sword of Promised Victory from his back. He prepared to release its True Name and blast the remaining half of the Evil God out of the world in one go.

[Arrogant, insignificant mortal.]

[As it was wrought thousands of years past, so it remaineth even unto this day.]

[Thou art far inferior to him, thou wretched insect!!!]

The chaotic, magnificent voice boomed like thunder, exploding directly in Toya's mind.

Any ordinary human listening to the direct voice of a deity would have been annihilated instantly, or at the very least, driven into irrevocable madness.

Toya's expression remained indifferent. "Just as I guessed."

"This world is unexpectedly mysterious."

"As the Savior of this era, I can't even access information about the previous eras."

According to the knowledge he possessed about Saviors, each generation left behind records of their time—inscriptions carved into the world itself that could not be erased by conventional means.

Yet, he knew nothing about the eras before him. The only fragmented information he had come from the time of Abe no Seimei.

Clearly, something momentous had happened in the distant past to erase those records.

Pausing briefly, Toya's cold voice shook the sky. "I don't consider myself stronger than anyone."

"But as the Savior of this era, knocking you out of this world is enough."

"Once you reach the Outside of the World, there will be other deities waiting to deal with you."

Excalibur shone brightly. The holy light that annihilates all evil flared, and countless particles of starlight began to flow toward the blade.

The restraints on the sword began to dissipate one by one, revealing the brilliant glow of the star-forged weapon.

[Foolish and laughable creature. Dost thou truly believe that the Crawling Chaos and the Living Flame can be trusted?]

Alwassa's voice was filled with thick temptation and mockery.

[I wot well they shall seek to stay my hand. Yet ere that hour, why dost thou not assay to battle the one who quelled me an eternity ago?]

[He was a man of exceeding might. Powerful enough that even I was moved to marvel.]

[A pity, 'tis. For in the end, he couldst not withstand the erosion of mine aura, and thus became my Kin.]

In the center of the North Pole, a crazed, twisted rift in reality slowly tore open.

[Last Savior, in the reckoning of thy fleeting, paltry time, thou hast but a single hour.]

[Shouldst thou fail to vanquish him, I shall rise in my fullness and consume the very foundations of the world.]

"This feeling..." Toya frowned, staring at the North Pole with extreme vigilance.

He sensed that besides the reviving Evil God, another terrifying existence had "awakened."

From the rift, a shirtless, burly figure with disheveled hair slowly stood up.

His hair, dark as the deepest abyss, surged with madness and chaos. His face, which retained a noble but rugged appearance, was filled with numbness and deathly stillness.

"A strong enemy."

Toya stared indifferently at the figure emerging from the rift. "Who are you?"

The person who had suddenly appeared was strong—unexpectedly so.

But Toya felt no fear. He was the Savior.

He carried the weight of a world—not just humanity, but all living beings.

[Hearken, and I shall make it known. Allow me to present him unto thee.]

Alwassa's comical, exaggerated sneer echoed through the frozen wastes.

[The First Savior of this realm... and its First Sovereign.]
