Chapter 295 - An Extreme Father and Daughter, a Small Lesson

The moment Hunter stepped into the house, a gun was suddenly pressed to his head.

It was Damon.

Hunter had actually noticed him long ago. In fact, if he had wanted to, he could have taken him down easily just now.

But for Telly's sake, he had not acted.

"Go inside!"

Damon clutched the photos Hunter had just handed him tightly in one hand and barked the order angrily.

Hunter nodded.

"Mr. Damon, hello."

"I told you to go inside!"

Damon shouted furiously.

His wife had been killed years ago by men sent by Frank D'Amico, and his eldest daughter had disappeared for nearly ten years because of it.

Now, all of a sudden, a handsome Asian young man had shown up at his door.

He even claimed he had come for Damon's eldest daughter.

No matter how Damon thought about it, the man seemed highly suspicious.

Especially after seeing the photos just now, where his supposedly missing eldest daughter was tightly wrapped around this Asian young man.

Not only did they look extremely close, but the way his daughter looked at the man seemed almost dripping with affection.

Damon's rage only intensified.

"Click."

On the other side, Mindy skillfully locked all the door bolts again.

The little girl had somehow produced a butterfly knife from somewhere.

She stood by the side, carefully on guard.

Seeing this, Hunter slightly raised an eyebrow.

The next second, he suddenly reached out and gripped hard.

With a cracking sound of bones shifting, Damon's hand immediately hurt.

The misaligned bones instantly made him lose his grip on the gun.

When Hunter saw him reaching for his waist again, he tightened his hold and yanked hard.

With a clean over-the-shoulder throw, he easily flipped Damon and sent him crashing toward little Mindy, who was already swinging her butterfly knife at him.

"Dad!"

Mindy cried out in alarm, but she still pulled back her knife.

"It seems that if I do not teach you two a lesson first, we will not be able to have a proper conversation."

Hunter reached behind his waist and instantly took out a pair of handcuffs from his private space.

When he saw Damon still trying to rush him, Hunter moved without expression.

He grabbed one of Damon's hands and yanked hard.

Damon's face instantly twisted in pain.

Click.

Hunter cuffed one wrist.

He then sensed a rushing sound from behind him, yanked Damon in front of himself, and turned together with him.

The next moment, little Mindy's butterfly knife narrowly stopped.

Her delicate little face was instantly filled with fear.

The blade had missed her father's waist by less than two centimeters.

Click.

Hunter twisted hard again and forced the second cuff onto Damon's other wrist.

"Have you calmed down now?"

Hunter asked.

When Damon gritted his teeth and glared at him without answering, Hunter shook his head.

Before coming here, he had already expected it would be hard to deal with someone like Damon, who trained even his own daughter to be a killer.

After all, Damon had long since reached the point where he trusted almost no one except himself and his daughter.

But Hunter had still underestimated how hard this would be.

He shoved Damon to the floor.

Then Hunter suddenly felt a warning in his mind and rolled on the spot.

Bang!

Pain shot through his back.

He had been hit by a bullet.

He quickly lunged to Damon's side and grabbed him up.

Then, reaching back into his private space, he took out a handgun and pointed it at Damon's head.

Hunter lifted him up, got to his feet, and looked at Mindy, who had a gun aimed at him.

"Drop the gun, or I kill him right now."

Mindy held the handgun, her face full of hesitation and conflict.

Hunter felt a little scared and a little angry.

If he had not killed Frank yet and still had not taken off the dragon-scale armor he wore under his clothes, that bullet would have forced him to rest for a while.

The concealed armor had excellent stealth, but its bulletproof performance was not as strong as some others.

Hunter guessed the spot on his back where he had been hit was probably already turning dark purple.

But because of that, he also came to understand how Damon had been able to keep going after Frank all by himself for so many years and still survive until now.

He had a good helper.

The little girl Mindy's threat had been something Hunter had ignored just now.

And as a result, the very little girl he had let off several times nearly managed to injure even him, whose five attributes were already close to six times that of an ordinary person.

"Mindy!"

Damon suddenly roared and shook his head violently.

Hunter responded by swinging the butt of his gun down hard onto Damon's head.

"Shut up. If it were not for Telly's sake, do you really think you two would still be alive now?"

He was getting impatient.

The smile was gone from his face.

"Now, drop the gun."

"I will not say it a third time!"

Mindy looked at her father, whose face was now covered in blood and bruises.

After hesitating for a while, and seeing Hunter's gun aimed at Damon's temple, she finally dropped her own gun.

Hunter kept control of Damon, stepped forward, and kicked the gun farther away.

Seeing Hunter distracted for a moment, Mindy suddenly produced another butterfly knife from nowhere, leaped up, and lunged toward Hunter's throat.

Bang!

Hunter had lost patience, and he was no longer going to spare her just because she was a little girl.

He struck her with a fast and precise kick.

Instantly, the little killer Damon had trained for years was sent flying like a cannonball.

"Mindy!"

Damon roared in fury and started struggling violently again.

But Hunter, now completely out of patience, brought the metal butt of his handgun down hard on Damon's head several times.

He still remembered Telly, so he only used the force of an ordinary adult man, roughly the same as the kick he had used on Mindy.

Even so, the repeated blows left several wounds on Damon's head, and blood poured out.

"What a pain."

Hunter found a rope and tied father and daughter together.

Then he tore some cotton cloth from the sofa and stuffed their mouths.

Seeing that both of them were injured but still glaring at him, Hunter said coldly:

"I came here to talk to you properly, but my good mood has been ruined by this insane father-daughter pair."

"Listen carefully, old man."

"Your daughter Telly was kidnapped back then and sold to a Russian gang."

"She went through some very bad things. After meeting me this year, I rescued her, and she has been with me ever since."

"I am an assassin. I have killed more people than you two have in your little costumed game."

"Telly has always wanted to find her family, so I spent some effort finding you two."

"In a few days I will be leaving New York. Whether you come with me to see Telly or not is your decision."

"This bag contains the gift I prepared for you. During my investigation into you, I found that you two had been targeting a drug lord named Frank D'Amico."

"So tonight I went and killed him, then cut off his head and brought it here for you."

"I originally wanted to have a proper talk with you two about what Telly has experienced over the past few months."

"But suddenly I feel there is no need for that."

"Fine. Since you do not welcome me, I will leave in a moment."

With that, Hunter opened the travel bag he had brought.

He took out Frank's severed head, showing it to Damon, bag and all.

After seeing the head clearly and confirming that it really belonged to Frank, Damon's face changed through a series of complicated emotions.

Hunter snorted coldly and walked to the side.

He gently kicked Mindy's butterfly knife toward the father and daughter.

With his good mood already gone, Hunter turned and headed for the door.

Soon he opened it and walked out.
