Chapter 162 - Chapter 162: Speed Force

Levi pushed the door open and collapsed onto the couch.

Exhausted.

Not the kind of exhaustion from running dozens of kilometers—but something seeping out from his bones.

He had forcibly copied Barry Allen's Speed Force. To keep that power from spiraling out of control and destroying him, he had been suppressing it with everything he had.

After all that strain, the law-domain inside his body had nearly collapsed.

Even his vision was off.

Staring at the coffee table in front of him, he saw three overlapping images.

One version was spotless.

Another was covered in a thick layer of dust.

The third was cracked into several broken pieces.

The three states overlapped, making his head throb.

Levi knew exactly what was happening.

Unlike those in the DC universe who gained the Speed Force, his higher lifeform and mastery of Marvel's Time Law meant his use of it wouldn't be limited to speed alone.

Right now, two completely different time-based laws were clashing inside him, destabilizing even his own spacetime coordinates.

One came from the Time Stone—a green glow, representing linear, controllable time.

The other came from the Speed Force—red lightning, chaotic and violent, connected to countless pasts and futures like an endless web.

The two forces were fighting inside him, neither willing to yield.

Levi gritted his teeth, enduring the sensation of his soul being torn apart. His temples throbbed like needles were stabbing into them.

He sat cross-legged on the couch, closed his eyes, and sank his consciousness inward.

The world before him changed.

He saw his law-domain—a miniature universe constructed from multiple forces.

The Law of Space formed the foundation, like massive crystalline pillars supporting everything.

The Law of Power manifested as a dark golden vortex, constantly rotating.

The Law of Body spread throughout like meridians.

But now—the balance was broken.

Green time-light and red Speed Force lightning clashed violently in the air. Each collision sent ripples through the domain, shaking it to its core.

Like two ferocious beasts trapped in the same cage, tearing at each other relentlessly.

Levi felt like his consciousness was being split in two.

The left side of his mind raced forward—hundreds of frames flashing by in a single second.

The right side ran in reverse—rewinding from the present back to the moment he copied the Speed Force, then looping again.

The mismatch made even thinking difficult.

He took a deep breath.

This couldn't continue.

If this chaos persisted, his domain would collapse entirely.

And then it wouldn't just be a loss of control—he would be torn apart in a spacetime storm, leaving nothing behind.

Levi had no intention of making the two forces coexist peacefully.

That would take too long.

His method was simple and tyrannical—everything belongs to me, so everything obeys me.

He anchored his will, forming an invisible hand, and forcibly peeled the red lightning away from the green time-light.

It was like separating two lumps of sticky clay—requiring both finesse and brute force.

The Speed Force resisted violently, like an enraged lightning serpent thrashing in his grip.

Red arcs burst outward, racing through his consciousness, exploding into sparks wherever they struck.

Veins bulged on Levi's forehead. Sweat dripped down onto the leather couch beneath him.

He clenched his teeth, tightening his will around the lightning, dragging it out inch by inch.

Like pulling a deeply embedded stake out of a swamp with bare hands—every inch demanded everything he had.

A sharp buzzing filled his mind.

That was the resonance created as the two laws separated, vibrating so intensely it felt like his skull might split open.

But he didn't let go.

Bit by bit.

Until finally—

The red lightning fully separated from the green light, writhing in his grasp like an unyielding serpent.

Levi let out a cold laugh.

He invoked the Law of Space, carving out a separate pocket within his domain. Then reinforced it with the Law of Power, forming a sealed chamber—and shoved the Speed Force inside.

Door shut.

Clean. Efficient.

The red lightning was imprisoned in its own isolated space, surrounded by thick walls of power-law constructs. No matter how violently it surged, it couldn't escape.

It could only rage within, flashing red arcs that illuminated every corner of its cage.

The Time Stone's power, by contrast, was far more obedient. It was one of Levi's most mastered abilities—he only needed to reorganize it.

The green light settled back into place like a docile cat, flowing smoothly along its original pathways.

Only then did Levi let out a long breath.

Stabilized—for now.

He opened his eyes.

The world returned to normal.

The coffee table no longer overlapped. The walls stopped warping. The clock ticked steadily—one second per second, no faster, no slower.

Sunlight streamed through the window, falling across him. His Kryptonian physiology activated automatically, greedily absorbing solar energy and rapidly repairing the internal damage.

He could feel his cells rejoicing, like parched land receiving rain.

His strength slowly returned.

Levi stood, slightly unsteady, and walked toward the kitchen for a glass of water.

He reached for a glass.

At that exact moment, seventeen possibilities flashed through his mind.

His hand slipping—the glass shattering on the floor, shards scattering, one cutting his foot.

Gripping too hard—crushing the glass.

Spilling water and soaking the floor.

And one outcome where everything went perfectly.

Each possibility came with a clear causal chain—like branching paths at a crossroads.

Some led to minor trouble.

Some to bigger problems.

Only a few led to a clean result.

Levi paused.

Then smiled.

His hand began vibrating at an imperceptible frequency, becoming a blur. It passed straight through the glass as if it didn't exist.

Then solidified again—firmly gripping it.

The glass didn't even tremble.

"I see…"

Levi looked at the glass thoughtfully.

The Speed Force wasn't just about speed.

It was more like choice itself—the ability to interfere with causality.

You could see all possible future branches, like standing at a crossroads and reading every signpost—then choosing the path you wanted.

And if necessary—

You could even create a new path.
