"No human should be able to block a Legendary's attack like that!"

The onlookers were completely shaken.

Just then, Kyogre let out a deafening cry and surged up from the sea, firing a Water Pulse toward Rayquaza.
Even fighting two gods at once, Rayquaza showed no fear.
Its massive tail glowed with draconic energy and smashed forward.
Dragon Tail.
The Water Pulse was shattered in midair.
Failing that, Kyogre immediately dove back into the ocean, preparing its next ambush.
Compared to Groudon's straightforward rage, Kyogre was far more cunning.
Even so, Rayquaza was still dominating both of them.
While the three gods clashed, Aiden shifted his focus.
Maxie and Archie.
Kyogre's power allowed Archie to survive underwater, so Aiden chose Maxie first.

Aiden vanished and appeared atop Groudon's head in an instant, grabbing Maxie by the collar.
Maxie roared and threw a punch, empowered by Groudon's energy.
It was meaningless.
Against someone who could block a Legendary's attack head-on, Maxie's resistance was laughable.
Aiden's psychic power froze him in place.
The energy surged through Maxie's body and forcibly dragged the Red Orb out of his chest.
Maxie screamed as Groudon also let out a furious roar, firing a Hyper Beam straight into the sky.
"So even a god can still be influenced when a malicious human holds its Orb…"
Aiden murmured, pouring even more psychic force into the extraction.
At last, the Red Orb was ripped free.
The moment it left Maxie, Groudon's crimson eyes cleared.
Its madness faded.
Maxie collapsed, gasping for breath.
"Being alive… feels good…"
Without Aiden, he would have been consumed by Groudon's destructive will and turned into a mindless husk.
Aiden tossed Maxie toward the Pokémon League side, then looked down at Groudon.
"The Red Orb is with me now. Groudon, can you stop fighting Kyogre?"
Groudon glanced at Rayquaza in the sky… then nodded.
With the Orb in Aiden's hands, it could no longer resist.
Moments later, when Kyogre surfaced again, Aiden flashed over, ripped the Blue Orb from Archie just as easily, and brought the ocean god to a halt as well.
The world-ending clash between Kyogre and Groudon… ended just like that.
Aiden Flint now held both Orbs in his hands.
