With both Groudon and Kyogre regaining their sanity and no longer being influenced by the Orbs, Aiden Flint gripped the Red Orb and Blue Orb in his hands. Using his psychic power, he bound Maxie and Archie together and handed them over to Wallace, then turned his gaze back toward the two towering gods facing each other across sea and land.

Seeing the dazzling status panels of the two gods, Aiden's heart stirred.
Any Trainer who encountered a Legendary Pokémon would feel the urge to capture it. He wasn't Ash Ketchum—he had no habit of letting power walk away.
At that moment, the system chimed again in his mind.
"Ding! The system has detected the Host's desire to capture Groudon and Kyogre. The following choices are now available:"
"Choice One: Use Rayquaza to defeat both Groudon and Kyogre and capture them. Reward: Master Ball ×2, and unlock Primal Reversion for both Pokémon."
"Choice Two: Capture either Groudon or Kyogre. Reward: Master Ball ×1, and unlock Primal Reversion for one Pokémon."
"Choice Three: Capture neither. Reward: Title — Master of Release."
Aiden chose Option One without the slightest hesitation.
He had waited for Team Magma and Team Aqua to bring these two gods out of hiding. Now that they were finally awake, how could he possibly let them go?
And with Primal Reversion unlocked, their power would only grow further—exactly what he wanted.
"Ding! Master Ball ×2 acquired. After capturing Groudon and Kyogre, the Orbs will automatically merge with them to unlock Primal Reversion."
…
"Groudon, Kyogre," Aiden called out calmly. "As a Pokémon Trainer, I want to capture you. I'll fight you both with Rayquaza alone. If you lose, you become my Pokémon."
The two gods exchanged glances—then roared in fury.
They might be grateful to Aiden, but challenging them two-on-one, using their ancient rival Rayquaza no less, was pure arrogance.
A new battle erupted.
Down below, the Hoenn League's elites all went pale.
"What's going on?" Drake exclaimed. "Didn't he just stop the disaster? Why are they fighting again?"
"It looks like Aiden said something to them…" Norman muttered. "And now they're angry."
Steven pushed his glasses up and sighed.
"Don't tell me… he's actually trying to capture both Groudon and Kyogre by himself."
No one replied.
Because deep down, everyone knew—if anyone in the world would dare to do such a thing, it would be Aiden Flint.
If he succeeded, with Rayquaza, Groudon, and Kyogre all under his command… who on earth could oppose him?
…
"ROOOAAAR!"
Groudon moved first.
Magma erupted across the land as Flamethrower exploded outward, rivers of molten rock surging like living creatures toward Rayquaza.
Rayquaza rose sharply into the sky, effortlessly evading the sea of lava.
At the same time, Kyogre seized the opening and unleashed Origin Pulse from the ocean below, blasting straight toward Rayquaza.
Aiden's eyes flashed purple.
"Rayquaza—Mega Evolve. Then use Dragon Ascent."
Rayquaza let out a heaven-shaking roar.
Brilliant, multicolored light enveloped its colossal body.
Mega Evolution had begun.
"Rayquaza… can Mega Evolve?"
"Is this real? Am I dreaming?"
"This is insane…"
Even the Hoenn Champions and Elite Four felt their worldview collapsing.
In the distance, Team Rocket suddenly got excited.
"That kid's incredible, nya! A Mega-Evolved Rayquaza—if we give that to Boss Giovanni…"
"Section Chief! Executive Rank!"
"It's decided! We'll capture Rayquaza while they're fighting, nya!"
High above the battlefield, Mega Rayquaza emerged.
A colossal green-and-gold dragon filled the sky, golden whiskers flowing as it gazed down upon Groudon and Kyogre with godlike dominance.
The two gods wanted to enter Primal Reversion—but the Red Orb and Blue Orb were still in Aiden's hands.
A terrifying surge of Flying-type energy began to gather.
The sky slowly darkened.
The true battle of gods… was about to begin.
