Chapter 113 - Chapter 113: Intense Battle IV

Chapter 113: Intense Battle IV

His gaze stared intently at Mythyr; this battle was both for honor and a verification, and he needed to know more clearly through this battle. It would be a milestone for him to cling to. With a gaze determined not to let the group's honor be lost—if he lost, he would surely be insulted until he no longer stayed here—that gaze also held a bit of youthful stubbornness. Kazuka radiated more energy outward and widened his legs into a stance.

"Surrounding myself with this much energy makes it easy to be sensed; I likely have to find another way."

The decision changed again; energy retracted inside. He was trying to find something that could end this battle. Mythyr's eyes were too troublesome; sometimes when she was careless, he could attack her, but after being attacked, she became more alert and focused, making it even harder.

"Now I can only attack continuously to find an opening. But attacking continuously, sometimes I myself will make a mistake."

He exhaled a strong breath, showing he was struggling. His black hair had become matted with sweat at some point; his body was covered in dust as sweat broke out and the slashes made dust fly up and cling to him.

Lin was also at a dead end:

"Ka, how about trying to provoke her? Right now it's hard to end it when both sides are wrestling like this."

Kazuka with a pensive and difficult gaze.

"How to provoke her? And are we sure provoking will work?"

Kazuka stood straight again and smirked; the smile was quite forced, but from a distance, it was hard for Mythyr to see clearly. His voice was full of mockery:

"The battle seems difficult, doesn't it? You should apologize to us and then end this match."

Mythyr was quite surprised when Kazuka also spoke up. But being provoked, she smirked even longer; it seemed she was not driven into a mad rage by these words but was rather delighted.

"Are you mistaken? I am still the one holding the advantage. You want me to accept defeat?"

She growled loudly:

"Truly delusional."

"I will grind you to pulp."

Mythyr went big this time. She erupted with violent energy, making wind and dust blow hard across the arena. The red energy was extremely dense, making the ground under her feet crack and shatter; looking from the outside, it was hard to see her face clearly when the red energy surrounded her too densely.

Kazuka frowned, entering a state of alertness and jumping backward.

"Too much energy. Can her body withstand it?"

Kazuka also overflowed with extremely dense energy.

Lin: "Does Ka know about how much energy your body's limit can withstand? You must use it carefully."

Kazuka overflowed more energy; he suddenly saw Mythyr's sword on the ground. Stooping down and still paying attention to Mythyr, his hand reached for the sword.

Mythyr was cursing Kazuka incessantly:

"Brat, damn you, I will kill you."

She saw Kazuka taking her sword and standing up, so she became even angrier and screamed:

"You dare hold my sword?"

Mythyr launched with a very strong force, making the ground crack gigantically. She sheared the wind and flew away, hearing a "whoosh" sound. The ground below parted.

Kazuka opened his eyes wide in fear at that massive speed; he knew he needed to react. But before a blink was finished, Mythyr had lunged right in front of Kazuka.

A punch carrying massive energy pierced through Kazuka's blue energy layer and headed straight for Kazuka's left chest; she seemed to want to destroy Kazuka very quickly.

That punch lunged straight into Kazuka's chest in his horror; his eyes bulged and pupils dilated as he took the hit, his mouth opened wide and sprayed blood, his body arched according to the force and then was blown away with extremely fast speed.

Mythyr's body trembled as she had to use a large amount of energy. She didn't expect the battle's situation would be forced in this direction. She knew she needed to end it fast and not let Kazuka overflow more energy. Therefore, after attacking Kazuka, she lunged and wanted to continue attacking.

Kazuka rolled several rounds on the ground; he was in great pain, his chest felt as if it wanted to shatter into pieces, but he knew this was a life-threatening situation. Gritting his teeth, Lin in his head still tried to call Kazuka to return to a standing stance quickly. While rolling on the bumpy ground full of gravel. Kazuka, though mischievous, though prone to forgetting, sometimes never forgot; his memory throughout from the start still remained. He had nothing new; he simply applied the old things.

Kazuka's legs pushed down a lot of energy, immediately springing up. Kazuka did not protect his body with energy; instead, he concentrated all of it into his legs.

"I will go all-out with you."

By concentrating extremely dense energy into his legs while rolling away from the punch, by the time he sprang up, it was enough. Kazuka lunged forward with extremely fast speed.

Mythyr, who was lunging very fast, also opened her eyes wide in surprise.

Almost no one wants their life to gradually drain away while fighting. Thus they usually fight at a safe level, and the stronger they are, the more they need to do so. The weaker one is, the weaker the energy, so one can use up all their energy and vice-versa, it's much heavier. That is why powerful ones even fighting for months is a natural thing.

Kazuka swung the black-bladed sword of Mythyr. She, with the red energy sword held in her right hand, immediately took a waiting stance. Both sides collided energy, blinding the eyes.

The sword blades had only just touched, not yet fully bounced back, immediately Kazuka lunged and disappeared from Mythyr's sight. Her sensing ability could not keep up to scan Kazuka's position. Even he was the same, and Lin had reminded him, so Kazuka had taken the initiative first.

Kazuka appeared from behind Mythyr's back and swung the sword diagonally, energy pushing into the sword during the swing. In the small pause, Mythyr's sharp intuition immediately sensed behind her back; she panicked and feared, immediately turning her back and swinging the energy sword in her hand.

Immediately the energy sword in her hand knocked back Kazuka's incoming sword, making it bounce upward. But Kazuka had twisted his wrist and slashed upward, piercing through the somewhat thick and difficult energy layer. But while standing, Kazuka had pushed energy from his legs up to his arms even more densely. When she swung her sword to blow away Kazuka's sword, in that moment of movement, Kazuka had slashed at her arm, making her sense it but unable to react.

The sword cut clean through her right elbow; the arm along with blood flew up into the sky, blood stuck on the sword. Mythyr was stunned, her face as if frozen as her arm was cut off. Then the feeling of pain as if it had just transmitted up or Mythyr had been frozen and only now sensed it and retreated staggering a few steps.

But that was a good opportunity for Kazuka and he also realized it. Energy radiated again under his feet, immediately lunging very fast. He was still very alert; best to be certain. Suddenly Kazuka felt as if something made his energy become stronger and clearly sensed.

Lin hurried to say: "It seems this sword needs blood to help the wielder become stronger."

But suddenly stone walls rose up from the ground, making the ground shake; the stone walls surrounded her as she used her left hand to tightly grasp her severed right arm.

Lin hurriedly called out loudly in Kazuka's head: "Quickly find the position of her cut-off arm."

Kazuka scanned his eyes, suddenly seeing that arm in front. Kazuka also knew what Mythyr would do; he created a spear and launched it close to the ground, lunging toward the severed arm.

Suddenly under the arm, a small hole appeared; she wanted to take back the arm to recover. But bad luck for Mythyr and good luck for Kazuka as the spear Kazuka launched had stabbed through the arm as the small hole opened and flew toward the distance. Kazuka lunged, making dust fly everywhere, and grabbed the bleeding arm that still felt warm from her.

He was bewildered, not knowing how to handle this arm. But he knew that was also his current problem, but not the most important one. She lost one arm, and Kazuka held one of her arms; both sides were equal in the number of arms again.

However, Kazuka bit across Mythyr's arm and gripped the sword hilt tightly, straining so the arm veins bulged; energy transmitted into the sword rapidly and massively. Kazuka seemed to want to slash a strong energy blow with a large range.

Mythyr inside also sensed it. She created a path like a door running outside at the back. The severed arm had stopped leaking blood and had been stopped for a long time.

He sensed it. Swinging the sword behind his back as if to take a wide momentum. Kazuka swept the sword horizontally, an energy slash with an extremely large range; it was not small to pierce or cut. Instead, it had a large range to blow everything away.

Mythyr, with her entire body in red energy, lunged toward the left, wanting to escape that large range. The massive slash blew away all dirt and rocks and crushed the large stone blocks and lunged toward the arena wall then exploded loudly as some spectators watching screamed in fear.

Kazuka lunged as Mythyr was at the edge of the arena and had escaped the move's range. His teeth bit tightly into Mythyr's arm he was holding in his mouth.

Mythyr turned back with angry eyes. She put her left hand forward and summoned large, sharp stone pillars to attack Kazuka back. But with the current speed, Kazuka dodged all six lunging pillars and closed in on Mythyr.

Mythyr created an energy spear and swung it at the closing-in Kazuka right in front of her, her eyes full of hatred but helplessness.

The sword in Kazuka's hand with the surrounding energy source collided with Mythyr's energy spear.

But Mythyr's body maintaining too much energy made her tremble a bit.

She should have kept that fighting stance and looked for an opening, instead of using all her strength as if gambling her life; too arrogant and self-important.

A battle is a challenge to every aspect of oneself and puts the brain and calmness at the forefront.

Mythyr jumped back with her body only having a thin layer of red energy. Kazuka with trembling legs as if about to fall. He dissipated the energy layer around his legs and created energy spears then launched them toward Mythyr.

Mythyr avoided and knocked back the incoming energy spears. But Kazuka still had more strength than her and was creating a series of spears launching forward; the sword was stabbed through two bones of the arm he was holding in his mouth; if he put it on the ground, most likely Mythyr would take it back. Although it was cumbersome, Kazuka could still throw spears toward Mythyr.
