The instant that familiar voice echoed through the cavern, Bai Yue snapped his head toward the stone wall.
Azure light rippled across the rock face. From within it, a red-haired old man stepped out—six arms, fiery-red armor, his aura vast and restrained. At his side followed a human woman of peerless beauty, her expression calm and composed.
"Lian Feng King… Yan Ji."
A flicker of surprise crossed Bai Yue's heart. He had not expected to encounter these two here. Yet his expression remained steady. Since they had chosen to reveal themselves, answers would inevitably follow.
"I didn't expect to meet the two of you under these circumstances either," Bai Yue said evenly.
Lian Feng King smiled warmly, as though greeting an old friend long unseen.
"I'm just as surprised. It seems our fate truly runs deep."
Then he spoke again.
And with that single sentence, Bai Yue's composure shattered for the first time since arriving in this Universe.
"Tell me, Battle King—are you a transmigrator, or a reincarnator?" Lian Feng King asked lightly. "If my guess is correct, this isn't your original appearance… Bai Yue."
The words struck like heavenly thunder.
Bai Yue's power erupted without restraint. His World Lord–level aura surged to its absolute peak, and the Sky Horn Ant secret technique—never once revealed to outsiders—activated in full. His eyes sharpened like divine blades as killing intent locked onto the red-haired old man.
"Who are you?" Bai Yue demanded.
Lian Feng King merely raised a hand.
In that instant, a terrifying suppressive force descended. Bai Yue felt as though the entire Universe pressed down upon him. His body stiffened, movement reduced to that of a mortal struggling against gravity itself.
Unhurried, Lian Feng King walked over and seated himself by the tea table. Yan Ji poured tea for both of them before stepping aside. Only then did he speak again, his tone tinged with nostalgia and faint satisfaction.
"In this life, my name is Yuan Bin. In my previous life, I was known as Ni Yang." He frowned slightly, thinking. "And before that… hm. Xie Zhiyao, perhaps? It's been too long. Even I can't remember clearly anymore."
"Immortal Emperor Ni Yang?" Bai Yue asked, his voice tight.
"Yes. That unfortunate fellow," Yuan Bin replied with a chuckle. "I transmigrated from Earth into the Star Transformation World and became Ni Yang long before he reached Immortal Emperor. Knowing the plot allowed me to change my fate and obtain the legacy of the Mysterious God Temple."
He paused, then looked at Bai Yue.
"And you?"
Bai Yue spoke simply. "I woke up on Earth in this Universe. Cultivated, entered the genius battle, joined the Virtual Universe Corporation. The rest—you already know."
"Not bad," Yuan Bin laughed. "I originally only wanted to see who had taken my treasures. I didn't expect to flush you out."
"Then how did you confirm my identity?" Bai Yue asked.
"A genius battle champion named Bai Yue?" Yuan Bin shrugged. "That alone was suspicious enough. A World Lord who is Champion-invincible, completely beyond common sense? Such a person doesn't simply appear."
He did not mention everything.
When Yan Ji first arrived, Yuan Bin had attempted to sense his God Kingdom—Yi Jian Manor. There was no response at all. Despite being refined into a treasure, the God Kingdom should still have resonated with him.
That absence shocked him.
As a transmigrator, his methods should not have been restricted. Yet Battle King had somehow severed his perception entirely.
A World Lord with clones, untraceable information, and a cheat that even transmigrators couldn't pierce—Yuan Bin no longer had doubts.
"Then the disappearance of the Lian Xing Clan," Bai Yue said slowly, "was your doing?"
"Yes." Yuan Bin nodded. "They obtained a side-hall inheritance from the Mysterious God Temple—their treasure-refining method."
He took a sip of tea.
"Back then, before I awakened my memories, I participated in refining a top-tier treasure with them. We attempted to explore this Temple using its defense."
His smile faded slightly.
"It failed. Even with a top-tier treasure, we couldn't move an inch. After I awakened, I gained control of the Temple—but as an outsider, I was bound here by the Primordial Universe's will."
Bai Yue listened without comment.
Instead, he projected an image.
A Sky Horn Ant.
Yuan Bin froze for a heartbeat before smiling again.
"A pet I once collected within the Temple," he said calmly. "I never expected it to wander outside and be obtained by you. Our fate truly is remarkable."
His gaze turned distant.
"Since arriving in this Universe, I've never been able to leave. I envy you, brother—free to roam the Primordial Universe and witness its wonders."
Then his tone shifted.
"Brother, I'll be honest. Something went wrong during my world travel. My information can no longer be hidden. The moment I arrived here, the Universe targeted me."
He sighed.
"I reincarnated to escape… and still ended up trapped."
His eyes locked onto Bai Yue.
"You are a transmigrator. You obtained all the treasures I left behind. We should help each other. I want you to help me escape."
"And how would I do that?" Bai Yue asked calmly.
Yuan Bin leaned forward, excitement barely concealed.
"You've lived here for over a century without being targeted. You must possess a method to shield the Universe's perception."
"I don't," Bai Yue replied without hesitation. "I'm ordinary. I don't know why I wasn't targeted."
A chill crept into Yuan Bin's voice.
"Don't joke with me. I only want to borrow it. Once I find a solution, I'll return it."
Bai Yue shook his head. "I truly can't."
In truth, he wasn't lying. His concealment was an innate effect of the Dao Fruit's fusion.
Yuan Bin's expression darkened.
"You make this difficult," he said softly. "It seems our fate ends here."
The suppression intensified. Bai Yue was completely immobilized.
"I wanted to give you a painless end," Yuan Bin continued coldly. "But since you refuse… everything you have will be mine."
His god power surged. Within it, a condensed soul emerged—fully independent.
An impossible phenomenon in the Primordial Universe.
But transmigrators were never bound by common sense.
Laughing madly, Yuan Bin's soul transformed into a crimson blade and plunged into Bai Yue's sea of consciousness.
There stood the nine-story Void Tower.
Even Yuan Bin was momentarily stunned. A World Lord possessing such a soul-defense technique was absurd.
Yet that only thrilled him more.
The crimson blade struck.
The Void Tower suppressed downward with the weight of the entire sea of consciousness. The clash shook reality itself.
"Excellent!" Yuan Bin's voice roared.
Then his true weapon emerged—a high-level soul-attack treasure. Its aura alone caused the Void Tower and skull heavy treasure to crack.
With one decisive strike—
Both shattered.
Yuan Bin lunged toward Bai Yue's life core, ready to devour his soul and replace him entirely.
But as he followed the soul-connection toward Bai Yue's main body—
A smile appeared on Bai Yue's frozen lips.
The moment Yuan Bin's soul entered the passage—
It arrived at the Origin of the Original Universe.
And was crushed.
"This isn't the Primordial Universe…" Yuan Bin screamed. "It's you!"
"Yes," Bai Yue replied calmly.
Chains of law bound Yuan Bin's soul. His glowing shard was stripped away, sealed, and suppressed by the full power of the Original Universe.
Only then did Bai Yue exhale slowly.
The pitiful and tragic transmigrator had met his end.
