Chapter 112 - Chapter 112 -- The 111th Race Treasure Vault

"Have you decided on your next arrangements?"

Gan Wu Country Lord swirled the wine in his cup and glanced at Bai Yue.

"I'll head to Primordial Chaos City first," Bai Yue replied calmly, lifting his own cup. "Teacher Chaos asked me to visit him once I returned. He probably has plans for my next stage."

"You should go," Gan Wu Country Lord nodded, then sighed softly. "City Lord will arrange everything for your future. As your Teacher… I really can't help you much anymore."

There was a trace of melancholy in his voice.

From the very beginning, aside from some early guidance, he had rarely been able to assist Bai Yue. On the contrary, he had even benefited greatly himself—especially through the establishment of Nanxing Hall and the sale of various treasures.

Having a disciple who grew too fast was not always a blessing. It robbed a Teacher of accomplishment—and occasionally left him feeling faintly guilty.

"By the way, Teacher," Bai Yue said suddenly, "this is my harvest from the Ninth Battlefield. These items are of little use to me. I'd like to offer them to you."

With a wave of his hand, three treasures appeared in midair.

One was defensive armor, radiating heavy pressure.

One was an offensive long saber, its edge faintly humming.

The last was a Domain-type treasure, capable of summoning a vast river of yellow sand.

The instant Gan Wu Country Lord saw them, his eyes widened.

Shock flashed across his face.

He had not expected Bai Yue to be this generous—nor to casually produce multiple treasures of entirely different types, each exuding immense power.

"What kind of opportunity did you encounter?" Gan Wu Country Lord blurted out, then immediately caught himself. "No—never mind. Don't say it. Be careful with secrecy. You already carry too many treasures. If word gets out, it'll bring serious trouble."

"I understand, Teacher," Bai Yue nodded. "When I venture outside, I usually act through clones. People won't easily associate things with me."

Gan Wu Country Lord stared at the three treasures, feeling as if a cat were scratching at his heart. He wanted nothing more than to step forward and examine them—but his pride held him back, leaving him awkwardly rooted in place.

"…These are really for me?" he asked again, still half-unbelieving.

Bai Yue nodded.

Understanding his Teacher's temperament all too well, Bai Yue stood up before the situation grew any more awkward.

"I need to use the teleportation channel to the company headquarters," he said. "Please arrange someone to guide me."

"You're leaving already?" Gan Wu Country Lord replied reflexively—though his gaze never left the treasures. The words were perfunctory at best.

Bai Yue could only shake his head inwardly and walked out on his own.

The moment Bai Yue disappeared from sight, Gan Wu Country Lord's composure collapsed.

He seized all three treasures at once, divine power surging as he hurriedly completed ownership recognition.

"Mine… mine… all mine…"

A strange, almost chilling laugh echoed softly in the hall.

Outside the divine hall, Thirteen and the other guards were still on duty. Upon seeing Bai Yue emerge, they immediately saluted.

"Thirteen," Bai Yue said, "take me to the teleportation channel to the company headquarters."

"Yes, Your Highness."

Under Thirteen's guidance, they soon arrived at the teleportation center of the Gan Wu Secret Realm—a massive palace complex with experts stationed everywhere. From here, channels led not only to the Virtual Universe Corporation headquarters, but also to other universe countries, major factions, and key nodes.

They stopped before a side hall.

Inside, a colossal water curtain—dozens of kilometers across—rippled gently.

"You may return," Bai Yue said.

"Safe travels, Your Highness."

After Thirteen withdrew, Bai Yue stepped into the water curtain.

Space twisted.

The next instant, he appeared inside a magnificent hall at the Virtual Universe Corporation headquarters. A waiter hurried over, becoming even more respectful upon recognizing him.

Bai Yue gave a brief nod and walked straight toward the Universe Channel.

At the heart of the headquarters continent, enormous gates opened with a thunderous rumble.

"This is Bai Yue. Open the Universe Channel."

Space-time distorted once more.

He arrived in the Initial Universe.

The dim sky, drifting chaos energy, and distant裂开天地 were unchanged. With his current comprehension of laws, the transition no longer troubled him in the slightest.

Moments later, Bai Yue arrived above Primordial Chaos City and descended toward the City Lord's Mansion.

The outer mansion lay open as always. The Inner Mansion, guarded entirely by Immortal Gods, allowed him to pass without obstruction.

Stepping into a quiet courtyard—

Space and time inverted.

The stars shifted.

Bai Yue found himself within a vast world strewn with corpses—some as large as planets, others smaller than humans, each exuding terrifying residual auras. The ruins of a peak battlefield.

Not far away stood a towering figure.

Primordial Chaos City Lord.

Bai Yue bowed deeply.

"Greetings, Teacher. This disciple has returned from training."

"It's good that you're back," Primordial Chaos City Lord said calmly. "Your performance on the Outside Territory Battlefield was excellent. You didn't disgrace me."

After a brief pause, he asked, "What are your plans next?"

"My understanding of laws is nearing a breakthrough," Bai Yue replied steadily. "Once I secure a clone with a massive god body, I can step into Undying."

"After that, I plan to cultivate within the Ancestor God Religion—specifically the Beast God Dao—to comprehend fusion laws."

"Beast God Dao?" Primordial Chaos City Lord frowned slightly. "Your progress in Time and Space is already astonishing. Why divert your focus?"

"Law fusion concerns my future path," Bai Yue answered simply.

Seeing his resolve, the City Lord nodded.

"Very well. But remember—biting off more than you can chew is dangerous. Time and Space must remain your foundation."

"This disciple understands."

"As for the beast god inheritance token," the City Lord continued, "you can apply for it through the race. It'll require a high-level decision. Stay in Primordial Chaos City for now."

"What attribute?"

"Earth and Space."

"Approved."

With permission granted, Bai Yue withdrew and headed toward the race's Treasure Exchange Hall.

The ancient side hall opened slowly.

Inside, a massive stone disk dominated the center.

Bai Yue placed a piece of armor upon it.

Green light surged.

"Armor Gong Liu," a gentle voice announced. "Offering value: 9 treasure points. Confirm?"

"Confirm."

The armor vanished as the exchange finalized.

A vast gray list appeared in the air—Treasure, Heavy Treasure, Materials, Special Resources…

Bai Yue's gaze sharpened.

"Special Resource Class."

The list shifted.

As he studied it, Bai Yue felt genuine awe. This was the accumulated core wealth of the entire Human Race.

Treasures were divided clearly—Ordinary, High-Grade, Top-Grade, Peak, and Supreme.

With only nine treasure points, he could view only the first two categories.

That was fine.

What he truly wanted lay elsewhere.

The Beast God Inheritance Tokens.

Not just one.

All eight.

From the moment the Dao Fruit became his Original Universe, Bai Yue's path had diverged from everyone else's.

Perfection.

Transcendence.

That was his goal.
