At that moment, Frieza suddenly thought of something.
He could transform, yes—but maintaining those transformations consumed stamina. He couldn't keep them up forever.
And this Saiyan had already burned through so much energy.
If Frieza destroyed the planet, then the moment the Saiyan could no longer sustain his Super Saiyan state, he would die without question.
But Frieza…
No matter what form he was in, as long as he didn't starve, he could survive in space.
Frieza lifted his head and stared straight at Goku.
"Rather than be killed by someone like you… I'd rather kill myself!"
As he spoke, he raised an arm and instantly condensed a Supernova—a massive orb of annihilating energy.
"I, Lord Frieza, won't die!
The one who's doomed… is you!"
"Disappear, Namek!"
The Supernova shot downward.
Frieza laughed like a madman, already picturing the planet tearing apart.
But halfway down, the Supernova stopped.
Then, unbelievably, it began rising toward the sky instead.
Frieza's eyes widened.
"What?!"
And then he saw it—
beneath the Supernova, Goku floated there with a look of pure disdain, holding Frieza's attack up with one hand.
"Frieza," Goku said lightly, "even if the Namekians are nearly wiped out… don't go around destroying someone else's planet."
He lifted his hand and casually flicked.
The Supernova instantly dispersed, dissolving into nothing as if it had never existed.
Then Goku stared at Frieza with cold contempt.
"Frieza, stop doing meaningless things.
The more you do this, the more I look down on you."
Frieza clenched his fists, veins swelling across his arms.
He glared at Goku and snorted.
"Hmph. Then I'll show you my full power!"
Goku's lips curled slightly. "Good. I've been waiting for you to go all out.
You should know—having great strength but no worthy opponent is its own kind of misery.
Don't disappoint me."
Frieza sneered. "Stop acting like you're above me!
Even if you've become a Super Saiyan, you can't beat me.
Once I use one hundred percent, one minute—no, thirty seconds is enough to finish you.
Brace yourself."
As he spoke, Frieza forced his power up.
His muscles bulged, his aura climbing higher and higher.
When it stabilized, the slender, compact "perfect" Frieza had turned into a grotesque, devilish muscle monster—thighs thick, chest absurdly swollen, every muscle inflated to a ridiculous extreme.
He stared at Goku.
"There. This is what you wanted—my full power!"
Goku crooked a finger at him. "Come on. Attack me."
Frieza lunged and punched Goku in the stomach.
Goku didn't dodge. He took it cleanly.
Frieza immediately chained into a combo—hook punch, knee strike, kicks—then finished with a savage tail sweep that sent Goku flying.
Frieza laughed as he panted. "Hah… hah… how was that?
That was just a warm-up in my full-power state."
Goku steadied himself in midair and smiled.
"Not bad. A lot stronger than before.
Perfect for scratching an itch."
Frieza's face twisted. "Bastard! Keep talking!"
Goku raised his stance. "We'll see if it's just talk."
Frieza smiled coldly. "Hmph. Loud-mouthed monkey.
Before you die, I'll give you one compliment.
You really are strong as a Super Saiyan.
If I didn't exist, you might've become number one in the universe.
But because I do exist… I'm destined to be the Saiyans' nightmare!"
He roared.
The world shook. Power surged off him like a tide—at a distance, it looked like he was wrapped in a red storm.
Then he shot forward, arms extended, ramming straight at Goku.
Goku could've dodged.
But without hesitation, he chose to meet it head-on.
He drew his hands to his waist, palms forming a flower-like shape as blue-white energy grew between them.
"Turtle…"
"Wave…"
"Kamehame…"
"HAAAH!!"
In the same instant, Frieza's full-power rush collided with the Kamehameha.
Two ultimate attacks met—heaven and earth trembling as the energy crashed together.
Frieza pushed forward through red power, forcing his way into the beam's pressure.
Goku roared, his muscles swelling as his aura surged again.
The Kamehameha gained overwhelming force—driving Frieza upward, blasting him toward space.
Frieza gritted his teeth, veins bulging thick across his muscles.
But the difference in power forced him back.
Still—
Frieza was agile. Wrapped in ki, he could maneuver faster than the beam.
He suddenly veered, slipping away from the centerline.
Goku's Kamehameha shot past and into the void of space.
And Frieza curved sharply, charging straight back at Goku!
In that split-second—
Goku stopped firing, hands snapping forward.
He caught Frieza's wrists.
Frieza's eyes blew wide. He struggled violently—
but Goku only slid back dozens of meters before stopping completely.
Frieza's disbelief deepened.
It was like Goku had already seen through every move he could make.
"How… how is this possible?!"
Goku stepped in and smashed a fist into Frieza's head.
Then followed with a brutal hammerfist.
Frieza screamed and shot downward into the sea.
He burst back out of the water, roaring.
"Bastard! I refuse! I refuse to lose to someone like you…!"
Goku's eyes held a trace of regret—almost pity.
"You've hit your limit.
Your ki is already dropping. You're not my opponent anymore.
Next… I'll use my full power and give you the highest-grade death."
Frieza stared. "What?!
You're saying you still haven't gone all out?!"
He covered his mouth and laughed nervously. "Ohohoho… you're a funny one…"
And then—
a crack split open in the sky.
A single Dark Dragon Ball slid out of the rift. It hung there for the briefest instant… and then slammed straight into Frieza.
The black Dragon Ball embedded itself in Frieza's abdomen.
In an instant, Frieza's ki exploded upward. His eyes turned blood-red, and his mind clearly snapped—reason evaporating.
Goku's pupils constricted.
He remembered scenes from the Dragon Ball games.
"Is that… a Dark Dragon Ball from the Demon Realm?"
He looked up at the rift, voice uncertain.
"Does that mean… I'm not in the main timeline?
And the timeline I'm in… is being invaded?"
In the next moment, the corrupted Frieza roared and punched at Goku with savage force.
Goku dodged sideways, but the violent energy grazed his shoulder, burning pain into his skin.
His brow furrowed—alarm bells ringing.
This Frieza's power was several times greater than before—and he had no reason left at all.
"ROOOAR—!"
Frieza howled like a beast, dark purple evil energy coiling around him. Black, twisted patterns crept across his skin.
He swung his arms wildly, ki blasts pouring out like a storm. The entire sea boiled and evaporated under the bombardment.
Goku's expression tightened.
"Damn it… if this keeps up, Namek will be destroyed completely.
The Namekians haven't been revived yet—the Grand Elder and Nail haven't even been moved…"
Goku gritted his teeth and shot upward, placing himself in front of Frieza.
He waved both hands rapidly, trying to deflect as many blasts as he could.
But Frieza's output was insane.
After blocking only a handful, Goku's arms screamed with pain—like they might snap at any moment.
Then Frieza charged in and slammed a knee into Goku's stomach.
Blood spilled from Goku's lips. He cried out and fell like a meteor into the sea.
At that exact moment, the rift opened wider.
A woman stepped out—light-blue skin, white hair, wearing a dark red robe.
She was Towa, the demon goddess who worked to revive Mechikabura.
She looked at the raging Frieza—more precisely, at the Dark Dragon Ball embedded in his abdomen—and covered her mouth with a laugh.
"My, my… I'm lucky.
I ran into a Dragon Ball right away."
She waved her staff.
The Dark Dragon Ball tore free from Frieza and flew neatly into her palm.
She licked her lips and smiled.
"That was ridiculously easy. How fortunate~"
The instant the Dark Dragon Ball left him, Frieza's eyes cleared—his mind snapping back.
He remembered the moment he'd been controlled and lunged at Towa in fury.
"You bitch! You dared control Lord Frieza?!"
But Towa had no interest in fighting him.
She waved her staff again—black wind blasted Frieza away like a toy.
Then, stepping through the air as if walking on invisible stairs, she slipped back into the rift with an alluring stride.
Goku burst out of the sea and saw her back—
but only for a split second before the rift closed.
While Goku was still stunned, a lethal danger jolted him awake.
He looked down—
Frieza was holding a red Destructo Disc in one hand.
Frieza laughed wildly. "You can't run! This move will chase you until you die! HAHAHAHAHA!"
With a violent swing, he hurled the crimson disc at Goku.
Anger flashed in Goku's eyes.
He raised one arm—
and chopped the side of the disc with a knife-hand.
In an instant, the Destructo Disc shattered.
And along with it, something else broke—
Frieza's heart.
Frieza stared, frozen. "How… how is that possible?!"
Goku looked down at him from above, voice flat with disgust.
"You're boring. I'm sick of you."
"What?!"
"I said I'm sick of you, Frieza.
Die."
In the next instant, Goku vanished.
When he reappeared, his fist had already punched straight through Frieza's abdomen.
Frieza's pupils expanded. Blood spilled from his mouth.
He stared at the hole in his stomach like he was trapped inside a nightmare.
"No… I'm the Emperor of the Universe… how can I die…"
Goku raised a hand and pointed at him coldly.
"Stop acting. That won't kill you yet.
I don't like torturing people… so I'll send you on your way."
Energy blazed in Goku's palm.
In the next moment, a blast swallowed Frieza whole.
Frieza's scream tore through the sky—then was cut off instantly.
When the light faded, Frieza had become nothing but dust drifting over Namek.
Not even a trace of his ki remained.
Goku exhaled and returned to normal.
Towa taking the Dark Dragon Ball was still vivid in his mind.
But thinking too much was pointless—
right now, he still wasn't strong enough to face people who could breach timelines.
All he could do was ignore them for now and keep getting stronger.
When his thoughts returned, he looked at the battered Namek.
"More urgent things come first.
I need to gather the last Dragon Ball and revive Elder Moori.
But the Dragon Radar is with Bulma…"
Goku looked up at the sky, troubled.
"Damn… I forgot something.
If the ship's in vacuum, it probably can't open its hatch.
And they're too far away—I can't even see them anymore.
Hope they come back and find me soon…"
With that, Goku went to retrieve the six Dragon Balls nearby.
Not long after, Bulma's ship descended and landed.
Krillin sprinted out first. "Goku! We felt it—Frieza's ki disappeared! I knew you'd win!"
Goku said, "Good instincts. Where's Bulma?"
Bulma ran out too, eyes shining.
"Goku, you were amazing! I knew you'd win—come here, gimme a kiss!"
Goku didn't have time for that. He spoke quickly.
"Bulma, the Dragon Radar—give it to me.
We have to gather all seven Dragon Balls and make the wish before the Grand Elder dies!"
