[3rd POV]
It was the next day, and Billie was on her way to pick up Haley. She had already gotten a private jet for the flight. She didn't actually own her own jet or anything, so she had to get one scheduled.
She planned on eventually buying one once some of her bigger investments began to make bigger returns. But for now she had to just get one for her and Haley. They'd be in Seattle by around noon, as the flight itself would take around three hours give or take a few minutes.
Then they planned on staying in Seattle for the day, before going in and meeting the kiddos the next morning. That way they can go shopping to spoil the kids, and get some other stuff done in Seattle that Billie needed to do either way.
Pulling into the Dunphy's driveway, Billie got out of her car as she walked over to the door and knocked. Humming slightly, she glanced at her phone. It was a little before eight in the morning, and they needed to be at the airport by 9 in order to get on the jet.
The jet would actually stay there all day for them if needed, but they needed to be there by nine in order to follow the timeline that they had prepared the day before. Well, more so the timeline that Billie had prepared, but either way, they needed to leave soon.
Standing in front of the door, Billie sipped on the warm coffee in her hands, another in her other hand for Claire. She thought it was the least she could do.
Soon the door opened, Claire standing there with a rather irritated expression on her face.
"You okay there, Claire?" Billie asked with a raised eyebrow upon noticing the face she was making.
"Yeah I'm okay, Luke is being...Luke. Annnyways, good morning Billie! You all ready to head to Seattle?" Claire asked, as Billie nodded before handing her the coffee, which Claire took with a pleased smile, and sipped it.
"Oooh that is good!" Claire said to herself, sipping on it more with a pleasant sigh.
"Glad you like it. Is Haley all ready? We've gotta be on the jet by nine if we want to keep with the schedule" Billie asked.
"Schedule?"
"Mmhmm, we're meeting with the kids tomorrow. So I figured Haley and I could explore the city just the two of us, while also going shopping for the kiddos. You know, just to spoil them a bit" Billie explained, as Claire nodded slowly in understanding.
"Yeah, she's...getting ready. You know her. But she should be out any minute now" Claire replied, an awkward expression on her face as they stood there for a few moments, before thankfully, Haley came walking down the stairs, a tightly filled suitcase in her hand.
"I'm ready, I'm ready!" Haley yelled, as she walked up from behind Claire with a deep breath, seemingly struggling with the suitcase in her hands.
"You got all your clothes and stuff?" Billie asked, wanting to make sure as she glanced over at her girlfriend.
"Mmhmm, clothes, toothbrush, deodorant, and a few other things. You know, the important stuff!" Haley responded with a bright smile on her face, excited to go down to Seattle.
"Good. Are you ready to go then?" Billie asked, as Haley nodded, not even bothering to hide her excitement. She really wanted to meet those kids, and she had never actually been down to Washington before, so that was also going to be fun.
"Alright, well Claire, we'll be off. I should have her back by Monday" Billie said, as it was currently Friday. Three days was long enough in her book.
"That's fine. As long as she's back before Wednesday" Claire responded, which Billie nodded at, watching as Haley gave her mother a hug.
"Bye mom! I'll make sure to call when we land" Haley said, as Claire watched her walk off with Billie, hoping they'd be safe.

Driving towards the airport, Billie sipped on her coffee as Haley drank her own. The two of them were about five minutes out, and were actually arriving a bit early, which was perfect.
"You excited baby?" Billie asked, looking over at her girlfriend who grinned.
"Of course! How couldn't I? It's my first time going to Seattle! And we get to go shopping and see Pike Place, and of course we get to grant the wishes of those kids" Haley responded with a bright beam.
"Glad you're so excited. As for when we get there, I figure we can get situated in the hotel before going down to shop for the kids. I've asked the folks over at Make a Wish about what the kids like, and figure we can go out and buy them some gifts, you know, to spoil them a bit" Billie said.
"Billie, that's a great idea! Oooh, and maybe we could even donate some money to Make a Wish, to help out the other kids" Haley said with a hum, wondering if she should make a few calls.
"Already did, babe. I donated a million to them when I first got the call about the kid that asked to see me that couldn't" Billie responded, with Haley looking over at her with wide eyes, before sighing.
"Only you could talk about donating a million dollars like it's nothing"
"Yeah well, I figured it was the least I could do with me not even knowing about them before. And since your mom gave us the go ahead to technically stay until Tuesday, we can space out our experience a bit more, as originally I was planning to just go until Sunday. But now it looks like we've got another two days to have some fun" Billie replied with a small smile of her own, while Haley looked over at her.
"Have some fun how?" Haley asked with a small smirk.
"Not in that way, babe. Give it a little more than a week and then talk to me about that particular...idea" Billie responded with a snort, knowing what her girlfriend was referencing.
She had some crazy strong self control, because Haley had been teasing her for over a week now about that particular idea. But Billie was not touching her in that way until December 10th, then...well, then she'd think about it.
And hopefully, they could have that talk down in Paris, she still needed to get the go ahead from her mother.
"Fine, fine. But just know that the second the time comes, I'm jumping you" Haley responded with a puff.
"I think it'd be me jumping you, baby" Billie said with a small smirk at her girlfriend, whose cheeks flushed at those words and the look she was getting.
It was pretty hard to not imagine all sorts of things.
"Annnnyways, we're here!" Billie exclaimed, as they pulled into the private parking area for those that were taking a private jet.

The jet had turned out to be a pretty nice one, large and very comfy. With all sorts of amenities that made it a very comfortable time for the two of them. The people on the plane were also legally not permitted to speak of their passengers, so they wouldn't have to worry about the rumor mill being a pin in the ass.
With that, they had landed down in Seattle. They had spent most of the flight planning what they wanted to do in Seattle, and had even got a few recommendations from the flight attendant that was from Washington.
Soon Billie began to get off the private jet, Haley right in front of her as they looked off into the distance, and as Billie stepped onto the ground after three hours in the sky, she couldn't help but smile, one thought on her mind as she began to walk with her girlfriend.
'Time to explore Seattle!'
