[3rd POV]
After the enjoyable Thanksgiving with the Dunphys, and proving Jay and the others wrong by launching a pumpkin across a football field, Billie had returned home. The rest of the day had mostly been spent relaxing, as her stomach was full, and her hunger was satiated.
She had brought home some left overs though, so she'd be munching on some Thanksgiving food for a few days afterwards as well.
Her personal favorite food was the Mac n cheese that Gloria had made, as she had put some Colombian twists on it, using spices and other techniques from her country. It turned out to be really good, and Billie had gone so far as to ask for the recipe.
She really liked it.
A couple of days had passed since then. And most of that time was spent doing some Christmas shopping, buying out some gifts that she had managed to find for the different members of the Dunphy household. Some of them had been a bit harder to get her hands on than others, but money was not a problem for her, so finding them was only a matter of how much money she needed to throw around.
She had kept herself within a certain limit, knowing that they would not want her to go too crazy with it though. The only person that she had truly spoiled with a bigger gift, was Haley.
And the gift that she had gotten Haley was one that she would actually use, would help with her music work, and would probably be pretty enjoyable too.
But that particular gift wouldn't be given to her until Christmas.
No spoilers.
Beyond that, Billie had also been preparing for Haley's birthday, which was on December 10th. She planned on getting a private jet, and flying out to a place that the girl had always wanted to visit. Spending a week there, just the two of them.
She would be 18 at that point, and she already got confirmation that she had a passport. Now she just needed to get permission from Claire and Phil, and that was the hardest part.
Phil seemed like the type that would be fine with it, but Claire...yeah, that was the hard part. She was not certain if the woman would accept her bringing her daughter across the world by herself. She hoped so.
If not, then she might need to bribe her somehow. Maybe by giving her a gift or something. But she was not about to bring Haley's parents with them, as she wanted it to be a romantic and enjoyable week out, just the two of them.
Haley had always spoken about her desire to go to not just Paris, but France in general. Well, France and Italy. She loved the atmosphere of the two countries, and was pretty open about her desire to eventually live there for a short while.
Billie wasn't too sure about living there, but she did want to visit the place. She had been out of the country several times before, but she had never been to either France or Italy. She had mostly been to the UK, Germany, and Japan.
And those were for business investments and music deals for companies that wanted to use her music in their shows, shops, or whatever else.
Besides deciding on Haley's birthday gift, and Christmas gifts, she had also been making sure that the family knew that they'd be doing Christmas at her place.
She knew that in canon they would all split up, with Jay, Gloria, and Manny going out of the country. While Cam, Mitchell, and Lily would have been in another state all together.
So she made sure that they would not be doing that this time, or if they did, it would be the day after Christmas. That way they can all enjoy their time as a family, and things won't get all screwed up thanks to them going out.
She had already planned Christmas out, and she did not want it to get ruined because someone decided to not listen to what she was telling them.
Thankfully they had all remembered, and had pushed their plans to after Christmas, with both sides of the family going out the day after Christmas. That way they can still do what they had wanted to do before, and could still spend Christmas as a family.
At the moment Billie was in her living room, sipping on her morning coffee as she read the articles about her recent song. Somewhere over the rainbow.
It had somewhat recently fallen off from number one. But it had already gotten tens of millions of views, and people were already asking for it to be sold like the others. She wasn't really sure about that, but in the end, had given the go ahead to her people.
They were anticipating another multi-platinum song. Not as big as most of her others, but it would still be huge. All of her music was huge, regardless of how good it was. Simply because she was that big of an artist now.
The song was being given great reviews thanks to the emotions behind it. And was one of the first songs she had made that even the annoying ass critics seem to like. Probably because it has a message, is beautiful, and isn't "Cliche".
Billie didn't think her music was that cliche, but alright.
While reading through the articles, Billie heard her phone buzzing, as she looked down and raised an eyebrow.
"Hello?" Billie asked, as she answered the phone.
"Hello, is this Miss Billie Eilish?" A feminine voice asked on the other end.
"It is" Billie replied, about to ask who this was before the woman continued.
"Hi, I'm from the "Make a Wish Foundation" and am calling because we have a young girl here who would really like to meet you. Are you available?" The woman asked, as Billie shot up to her feet.
"Of course!"
"Great! We're down in Seattle, so will you be willing to fly out here?"
"Absolutely. And is that the same hospital that Isaac, Amanda and Sophia are? The ones that want to meet with HD?" Billie asked, remembering that three of the four kids that wanted to meet Haley, were all in the same hospital.
"It is, why?"
"Because I am thinking that maybe we can grant their wishes too. HD only just recently learned about it, and now that I am heading there, I'm sure she'll want to come with" Billie responded, as the voice on the other end seemed to go silent.
"I-Y-Yes we'd greatly appreciate that, Miss Eilish. You have no idea how happy that is going to make those kids" The voice said, almost sounding like she could cry.
"Anything for them. Oh, and please do send me a list of things they're interested in. I've set aside some...money, afterall, those kids deserve some spoiling" Billie responded with a happy smile on her face.
"Of course. And...thank you again, Miss Eilish. We'll send you the information. And I hope you have a good day" The woman said, as Billie returned her goodbye, as she hung up.
Billie let out a happy cheer as she called Haley next.
"Hey babe" Haley said on the other end, as she was in the kitchen, Claire staring at her with a grumble.
"Hey babe. You know how I told you about the Make a Wish kids that wanted to meet you?" Billie asked, getting right to the point as Haley stilled.
"Yes? Di-did-" "No, no. Nothing like that. I actually was just called by someone from the hospital down in Seattle, and they have a kid that used her wish to meet me. That same hospital has the three kiddos that wanted to meet you, and I was wondering if you'd like to go down there with me" Billie asked, as Haley's face lit up.
"Of course I'd go with you! When are we going?" Haley asked.
"Going where?" Claire asked, a frown on her face.
"I'll tell you in a minute mom" Haley said, as Claire was about to snatch her phone.
"I figured we head there tomorrow. I'll come pick you up at lets say...8?" Billie responded.
"Thats fine by me. I've gotta go now, my moms gonna snatch my phone. Bye!" Haley said, holding her phone from her moms grasp as Billie chuckled.
"Bye babe" Billie said, as they hung up.
_______
"Haley, where are you going? And don't you ignore me like that miss!" Claire said with a sharp glare.
"I'm going to Seattle, mom. Tomorrow"
"You can't just go to Seattle! Not withou-" "Mom, three kids from the make a wish foundation used their wishes to meet me" Haley said, cutting her mom off as Claire smiled.
"What?"
"They want to meet me. And Billie just got a wish from a kid there too. So she figured that we can go together. And I know that it's not okay to skip school for this, or to ignore you like that, but-" "Oh honey, of course you can go" Claire cut her off.
"Really?" Haley asked in surprise.
"Of course. Do you really think I'd not let you go grant those kids their wishes? I'm not evil, honey. And those little kids who are so sick, deserve to have them granted. School will just have to wait" Claire replied with a smile, inwardly so very proud of her daughter.
Proud that she was doing something so incredible for three little kids, three kids that used their wishes to see her of all people. And the best part of it was that Haley was ready to fight over it, that was how much she wanted to grant their wishes.
It was hard for Claire to fight back the tears that were threatening to spill.
Haley's face slowly worked into a bright smile, as she hugged her mom.
"Thanks mom!"

After Haley had hung up, Billie had immediately started to get to work preparing. The first thing being a private jet that she needed ready for the next morning.
And as she continued to prepare for the trip, Billie had a smile on her face, and one thought on her mind.
'Time to grant some wishes!'
