[3rd POV]
After a few minutes of holding the kiddos, they separated, as Billie watched Kendra begin to open the bag. At the same time Haley was watching as Amanda, Isaac, and Sophia were opening their own bags.
The other kids in the room began to open their gifts too, gasps and loud cheers echoing as they began to pull out the gifts that they had been hoping for for so long now. New consoles and toys were placed in front of the kids, as Billie and Haley watched tears streak from some of the children's eyes.
All the while the nurses and helpers were watching with happy smiles on their faces, so glad to see the kids this happy. They had gotten what they all wanted, more than that in some of their cases.
Billie watched Kendra open her gift, the kid was beaming as she held the album in her hands, before a paper fell onto her lap. Kendra blinked in confusion as she lifted it, and began to read, confused.
"Do you know what that is, Kendra?" Billie asked, as the kid shook her head.
"That's VIP tickets to the first concert in my tour. Not only is that VIP tickets, that's the first ticket anyone has gotten" Billie explained, as the kid looked up at her with wide eyes.
"A tour?" Kendra asked, shocked.
"Mmhmm, I'm doing my first tour in a few months. And it's going to start here in Seattle. And since it's starting here, I thought it'd only be right that you got the first ticket" Billie responded with a smile, a soft laugh echoing from her as the child once again moved to hug her tightly, happiness pouring from her eyes.
"Well, I'm glad you are so excited to come" Billie said with a chuckle, as she rubbed the kids head as she happily beamed, pulling back from the hug a moment later. She watched as Kendra made sure to put the ticket onto a place where it wouldn't get knocked down or lost.
Before eventually, she began to open the bag again, beginning to pull out her remaining gifts, cheering with every one that she grabbed. At the same time, Haley was happily watching her own wishers opening theirs with just as much excitement.
The gifts had continued to be opened for the next thirty minutes or so, as some of the kids had opted to play with some of their toys before moving onto the next one to bring out. While others that had gotten consoles, were already asking about how to set it up, and if they could get help.
Of course Billie had opted to help them herself, as she had set up her own consoles back home, and knew exactly how to work the PS3's, the Xbox's, and every other console that she had bought for them.
What followed was around an hour of setting up a ton of consoles, and trying not to coo at her girlfriend who was helping some of the girls (and two teenage boys) with their makeup. It was an adorable sight, and she had snapped several photos, with the permission of the parents who had been watching the entire thing, but had remained silent.
The parents in question had joined their children in tears, mostly because some of the gifts that they had been given was...immense.
By the end of the day, Billie was thoroughly exhausted, same as Haley. But, Billie had one last thing to give to them. She had set up the donation that she had been planning to give them. But not all of it had gone through. So, she thought she might as well give it to them now in person.
Which is why she was standing in front of the nurse, holding out a small piece of paper.
"I thought that since I got all the kids so many gifts, I might as well get one for the hospital that is taking such amazing care of them. And I was half tempted to get a bigger check, but I thought that'd be cheesy" Billie said with a small smile, as the woman looked down at the paper in confusion.
Before a gasp left her lips at the number on the check. Her eyes widening as tears began to well up in her eyes.
"I-T-This is way too much!" Sophie exclaimed with wide eyes.
"No it isn't. And I've got money, Sophie. More than I could possibly ever use. So I might as well use some of it to give back to those that need it. So seriously, take the money, and use it to better this place, and the others that could use it" Billie responded, a small smile on her face.
The other helpers couldn't help but glance over the woman's shoulder, a gasp echoing from their throats when they saw the number.
Just a little over five hundred thousand dollars. Enough to buy a home. To buy a nice car. To do most things. More money than a large majority of the country makes in a single year. Hell, it was more than most made in several years.
And she was causally donating it to a children's hospital. That sort of thing was not possible for most people. And to hear that she was doing it for them of all people...was incredible. It took a lot of willpower for the helpers to not cry at the gift.
"Now, how about we eat? And no more talk about denying that gift, you're taking it. And if you do somehow get it back to me, I'll just donate to you online anyways" Billie added, as the kids all cheered at the mention of eating some food.
With that, the helpers could only sigh as they began to help the kids, while Sophie went to put the donation through. It was the largest one they had gotten from a single individual in a long time. And sure, they got funding from corporations and stuff. But they did that to look good, to help public image.
But Billie? She had done that personally. She had made it personal.
And she truly cared.

Later in the day, as they finished their food and the donation was put through, Billie and Haley had finally left. But not without getting a ton of hugs from the kiddos, and a promise to come back whenever they were in the area again. Which probably wouldn't be for a while at this point.
When Billie's tour began, most likely.
And now they were in the car, driving through the streets of Seattle towards the hotel that they had gotten. They planned on going out and exploring the city a ton more the next day. They hadn't been to Pike Place Market or the local Chinatown. Nor had they seen any of the local museums or anything else that was interesting to see.
The big one that both of them wanted to do was to go see the Space Needle in person. They knew there was a restaurant there, so they planned on having a nice and romantic dinner inside. Even if it might be a little...uncomfortable considering it was a glass floor.
While driving, Haley couldn't help but ask a rather interesting question.
"Do we have any make a wish hospitals down in California?" Haley asked, wondering if there was any that were more local. She hadn't heard anything about there being one, so she figured that Billie would know at this point.
"Hmmm, I'm pretty sure there are a few. Mostly in LA, San Diego and San Francisco. But yeah, there's some. But I haven't gotten any calls from them yet, so I am assuming that they just haven't gotten any wishes for us yet" Billie answered, with Haley humming in response.
She was happy to hear that there might at least be a few local places that could wish to see them. That way they won't have to travel to an entirely different state to grant them, not that that was much of an issue for them.
With that question answered, Billie focused back on the road, as they both headed back to their Hotel. Leaving the hospital behind.
And the wishes of four children that were now granted.
