[3rd POV]
Waking up the next morning, Haley let out a soft yawn as she rubbed her eyes. Sitting up, she began to look around. Her eyes burned slightly from the beam of sunlight that came through the window, before she turned and looked at the time.
It was around 9 in the morning, meaning she had gotten a decent amount of sleep, around 5 hours. It was not a lot, but it was enough for her to survive the day on. And then she'd get more sleep the next night, so it would only be today that she would be tired and a bit out of it.
Looking around, Haley slowly began to frown when she noticed that Billie was not in the room, only to stop when she heard the sound of the bathroom door slowly open. Turning, her eyes widened as she watched her girlfriend step out, still covered in a sheen of water, and a towel clung to her body.
Her cheeks flushed bright red as Billie yawned only to look up and lock eyes with her, blinking in surprise before a small smirk formed on her face.
"You know, if you wanted to see me naked, you could have just asked" Billie teased, amused as she watched her girlfriend sputter an attempt at a response, while also trying not to check her out...too obviously.
She felt the gaze on her upper half and her legs more than anything. Before she chuckled as her girlfriend looked away, her ears flushing bright red at the tips.
"You're adorable, baby" Billie teased, as she watched her girlfriend continue to look away, and without hesitation, dropped the towel.
Haley heard the towel drop to the floor as her face grew hotter and hotter, and the desire to turn and look was growing. But she shook her head furiously and continued to look away, not allowing her urge to drink in the sight of her nude girlfriend overwhelm her.
"You can look now" Billie said after a few moments of getting dressed, as Haley turned back at her, finding her fully dressed. She couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed that she would not be able to see more of her girlfriends borderline nude figure.
"You'll see more later...if you're lucky" Billie said, noticing the look as she hummed, walking over to sit next to her girlfriend. Haley bit her lip at the words, understanding the...undertone to it, the meaning. But she decided not to continue that conversation.
More so for her own sake. She was going to have a heart attack at this rate.
"So...when did you wake up?" Haley asked, changing the subject. It wasn't really the best way to do it, but it was the only one she could find at the moment. And it was the only one that worked.
"30 minutes ago or so. I've just taken a shower and thats it so far. I was planning on grabbing some breakfast from this local bakery that I've heard good things about, and bringing it back up to you. But considering you are awake, I guess we can make that our first destination of the trip, if you'd like" Billie responded, as Haley beamed and nodded, pressing a soft kiss against Billie's plump lips.
"Let me get a good shower in and then we can go" Haley said.
"Oh? Are you going to give me a sight like I ga-" "Nope nope, not going to continue that conversation" Haley cut her off with a blush as she sprinted towards the bathroom at a speed that caught Billie off guard.
Watching her run into the bathroom, Billie laughed.
'God she is adorable. Hmm...might have to tease her more later on. I'm sure there's a few places I use to mess with her' Billie thought, already imagining the ways she could tease her girlfriend.
Billie wasn't going to deny the fact that she was...interested. They were both adults now. So...well, they could do it if they wanted.
The idea was increasingly appealing for Billie. Especially once she noticed the way that Haley had been looking at her on the jet and on the drive and even this morning. The girl was not even bothering to hide how thirsty she was.
And Billie wasn't really trying to either.
But she didn't want to force her girlfriend into it or anything. So she was just going to be a bit more obvious about what she wanted to do with her, and let Haley come to the decision herself. But if the looks that Haley was giving her was any indicator, she was pretty confident they'd be enjoying their time some night soon.
While waiting for Haley to finish her shower, Billie brought out her phone and began to check over her emails.
Amongst them was the ones on the Ellen Show, and the fact that she was going to be on that. She had already confirmed the songs and all that. And had confirmed that she was doing it. But she had made it VERY clear that she did not want anything leaked, and if it was leaked, she would never work with them ever again.
They had not leaked anything yet. But there was still a couple of weeks before the time for it. And that was more so a future Billie problem, not a current Billie problem...well probably at least.
Billie had also gotten an email from one of her trusted advisors that is her main "Deals and Acquisitions" guy. He was the one that bought companies and other businesses for her whenever she didn't do it personally.
And the email itself was mostly detailing her recent deals going through. Which was mostly a ton of small businesses around the country that were going under that she was effectively saving. On top of that was real estate around the country, apartments and stuff like that. All of it would give her passive revenue that she would not need to deal with personally.
The final of them was the shares she had acquired in a few companies. This being Bose, Sonos, Harman International and Spotify.
She had 15% of the shares in Bose and Sonos. 9% of the shares in Harman International. And the largest of them being 25% of the shares in Spotify. This was all done through careful investments, and a number of other important deals she had been making over the months.
She had a lot of money. More than anyone knew besides herself at this point. And she made sure to make that money worth while. To use it for something that she actually gave a damn about.
Besides that, she had made sure to send the family a text. She had called them the previous night alongside Haley when they had arrived, but that was about it. The family was pretty understanding of what they were doing, and was good at not intruding in things that they really didn't have any business involving themselves in.
Manny was the one that had been a bit annoying to deal with. But Gloria and Jay had both ensured her that he would not be bugging her on the phone over it. They understood that this was a trip meant for just the two of them, and that she did not want it ruined because Manny was still jealous that Haley and her were going, even though she had promised to take them to Europe in the summer.
She cared for the kid, but damn could he be an annoying brat sometimes.
With that, Billie continued to sit there, waiting for her girlfriend to finish up so that they could go explore the city of love. And while she sat there in silence, she had only one thought on her mind.
'I wonder if the food here is good?'
