[3rd POV]
The third day was just as interesting as the first and second days. The third day had started with their third trip to the cafe in a row. The cafe had been a regular for them now, and sometimes had been a trip that they took more than once.
The cafe had already remembered their names now, but they did not really have a regular order or anything. They kept trying new things, and found that there was very little that they did not enjoy. Which was actually a bit of a surprise to the two of them.
Billie had also taken the liberty to get snacks and stuff regularly too, mostly ones that you could only really find in France, or ones that were found in Europe and not America. Now the snacks...were a lot more interesting, and not all of them were entirely...edible. At least in Billie and Haley's opinion.
The third day had marked another trip to the Louvre, this time they had visited the sections involving the Romans and Greek. The two of them were some of the coolest historical Empires/Kingdoms there was in Billie's opinion.
Haley was personally more into the ancient Spanish Kingdoms, but she also found that the Greek were incredibly interesting.
Either way, the two had spent hours in the Louvre just enjoying their time, learning more things about history and the world as a whole. It was learning about all of the cultures that the two had liked so much, and it was because of this that Haley had made a decision.
"I want to learn French" Haley said, as they walked through the streets of Paris towards the place they needed to go for the tour of the catacombs. They both had a coffee in hand, something that was a regular for them.
The coffee was just so damn good in the city.
Hearing her girlfriend's words, she looked over at her as they continued to walk.
"Is it because of the city?" Billie asked, curious. She didn't mind the idea or anything, and was actually a bit excited to hear the information.
"Partially, yeah. But it's also because the entire culture around France is just so...incredible. And I think the language itself is incredibly beautiful, like the best sounding of them all in my opinion" Haley replied, making Billie blink and raise an eyebrow.
"I'd be careful about saying that around Alex or Manny when we get home. As there is no doubt in my mind that they'll get into an argument with you over which language is the best. At the very least Manny and Alex will get into an argument with each other. Manny will probably either agree or go with Italian. While Alex will probably go with something a lot more ancient, like Arabic or something related to mathematics and science" Billie responded, knowing what the two were like, and how they were going to react.
"That...is a good point" Haley said, deciding inwardly that she was not going to say a word regarding the fact that she was learning French, or planning to.
"So, follow up question: Are you going to learn it to a level that will let you make music with it?" Billie asked, curious. She was already planning on making a few French songs herself, so this was a good question.
Because if Haley did want to make songs in French, then she already had a few ideas for songs that she could make for Haley to sing. There were a few that would also be relatively easy for her to learn at that.
"...How hard would it be to learn it to that level?" Haley questioned, very interested in the idea. Becoming capable enough in the language to do that sort of thing though...was not exactly easy.
"It matters how hard we go at it to be honest. If we study consistently pretty much every single day then maybe in like...a year? Honestly it matters how talented you are in regards to learning languages. Personally it had taken me around a year or so to learn" Billie replied, knowing that it was an excellent question.
It all mattered on the individual person. Some were better at learning languages than others. Billie was very talented in it thankfully. While it was unknown if Haley was just yet. It would just take some time and practice.
"Well I guess I'll figure it out after learning the language for a bit longer" Haley replied after a few moments of thought. She didn't really have to worry about it for a while, or at all for that matter.
Billie hummed in agreement, as they began to make their way to the tour for the catacombs.

Turns out the catacombs were really really interesting. Brutal and creepy as shit, but still interesting. It was built a long long time ago due to the crypts and cemeteries becoming overrun with corpses, and due to this they began to put all the dead bodies underneath the city.
There were thousands of dead corpses underneath the body. And each and every skull they passed was real and belonged to someone centuries ago. It was...really crazy to see, and it showed just how incredible humans were. It also showed how brutal the world was before the invention of things like the internet.
And they had only toured a tiny tiny tiny portion of it. The actual catacombs was giant, and was impossible to truly explore because of how old it was, and the fact that it was literally falling apart in some of the places.
By the time they were finished with their tour, it had been around dinner time. And they had decided to eat at a local place. They had originally thought of going to a Michelin star restaurant, but had decided against it as they didn't want to only go to places like that. And instead they wanted to also go to local places that were smaller and less internationally known.
So they actually got a recommendation from the tour guide, and found themselves enjoying the place quite a lot. The restaurant specialized in Italian food funnily enough, but it was excellent. And the two had tried out both non-standard foods, as well as a pizza that they had shared with each other.
It was a simple restaurant, but a good one. And by the end of it, their tummies were full of delicious food, and they were ready to head back to their hotel.
While sitting in the back of their car, the two had started to get a little...frisky with one another, with Haley pulling her hand onto her lap, playing with it absentmindedly with her cheeks flushed, and looking into Billie's eyes.
Billie felt it all, and inwardly prayed for the driver to arrive faster, because my God was it hard to restrain herself. Her girlfriend was making it VERY clear what she wanted at that moment, and she had to do her best not to push things into an uncomfortable situation for the driver.
Although the woman was smirking in the front, so it was pretty clear that she understood what Haley was doing, and why Billie was openly blushing for once.
And as they got closer to the hotel, Billie glanced down at her girlfriend who was openly biting her lip, one thought on her mind.
'...I can't tell if I should be aroused or scared right now'
