Now the Four-headed Weezing stood before him. The forest stretched as far as the eye could see, making it the perfect place for it to fully demonstrate its abilities.
Tetsuya wanted to call out to it, but realized he did not know what to call it. Calling it Weezing was obviously no longer appropriate, while the "Four-headed Weezing" had never existed before. It just felt somewhat awkward.

Against agile, Speed-oriented opponents, the four heads could launch dispersed attacks. No matter how much the opponent jumped around, they would never escape the all-directional attacks that left no blind spots.
Against defensive Pokémon with great vitality, Koffing excelled the most. No matter how high the opponent's Defense was, Koffing's poison was even stronger. The poisoned condition ignored Defenses entirely, constantly wearing away the opponent's stamina. Their collapse would only be a matter of time.

All of these moves could be used by all four heads. However, although the four heads of his Weezing formed a single body and worked together with one mind, they also had their differences.
That difference lay in their individual physical characteristics.
Icy Wind was the signature move of the conjoined Koffing that Tetsuya had originally caught on Shadow Island.
This was because it had been born by absorbing the miasma from the poisonous forest, along with the icy aura of Blizzard and Freeze-Dry. That allowed it to use the Ice-type move Icy Wind. After evolving, those two heads could use Icy Wind, while the other two could not.
As for the one from the mine, it could use Flamethrower. Its mutation and its return from the brink of death had both been caused by the explosion of poisonous gases and the blazing flames from the burning gas.
After mutating, its body was not only no longer afraid of fire, but it had also learned Flamethrower. After evolving, those two heads could use Flamethrower, while the other two could not.
