"My God, Princess!" Uncle Davison entered the guestroom in a wheelchair. "Are you alright? Have a seat, child." Seeing the old man again, even though only a week and a half had passed, brought a faint sting to Adele's eyes.
"I'm alright, Uncle Davi," she replied, bringing a small smile to her lips. "You should be the one resting instead of worrying about me. Are your legs recovering well."
"Just old bones. They'll join back… eventually. If I were young, it wouldn't have taken more than six days." He also noticed the lovely changes in the girl, be it her simple but elegant outfit, or the glow in her skin with light makeup that complimented her. "You're looking lovely, Princess."
"Yeah," Adele replied, her voice breaking slightly. "I guess I am."
