Introduction: A blade of evolution with infinite possibilities.]
Because the abilities of One-Cut Killer and Lion King hadn't changed, their characteristics remained the same. Demon Armor - Incursio had gained a "self-repair" ability because it had integrated the properties of the Indestructible Blade. Infinity Castle, due to the spatial power fused from the crimson gourd and the amber purifying pot, not only had its internal space nearly doubled, but the probability of releasing a space slash had also changed from unstable data to a stable one percent.
That meant for every one hundred swings, he could unleash one slash capable of tearing through space, and the power of the space slash was even greater than before the upgrade.
Before the upgrade, the space slash Naruto unleashed could only pull the Masked Man out of his intangible state.
After the upgrade, the space slash Naruto unleashed was highly likely to cut the Masked Man in his intangible state, along with the very space he occupied, in two.
Finally, the introduction for Infinity also changed from "An Indestructible Blade with infinite possibilities" to "A Blade of Evolution with infinite possibilities."
Looking at the equipment information for the reforged Infinity, Naruto's eyes flickered slightly. So now, as long as I swing the blade one hundred times, I'm guaranteed to hit that Masked Man once?
One hundred times. With Naruto's current swinging speed, that would only take a few seconds. If the Masked Man were careless and didn't dodge, wouldn't he be dead for sure?
"Haha!"
Thinking of the scene where he met the Masked Man again, swung his blade at him, and the guy relied on that space-time ninjutsu without dodging, only to be killed by a single slash, Naruto couldn't help but laugh.
Naruto had a kind nature and rarely harbored the intent to kill. Except for that scum from the Land of Grass, the Masked Man was the first. Ever since he learned about what happened to his family when he was born, the Masked Man had been on Naruto's "must-kill" list—the kind that no amount of persuasion could change.
"What's wrong?"
In the sealing space, Minato Namikaze heard Naruto suddenly laughing and couldn't help but ask, "Naruto, what are you laughing about?"
"Nothing."
Naruto shook his head, sheathed Infinity, and said with some excitement, "My blade has finished upgrading. Now, for every one hundred swings, I can unleash a slash that tears through space. That Masked Man is done for!"
"That's great!"
Kushina Uzumaki, who rarely spoke, couldn't help but say, "Son, you absolutely must not let that guy go. You have to kill him for your mother!"
Although Kushina Uzumaki's personality was fiery, she also rarely harbored the intent to kill. But the Masked Man was the exception. If it weren't for that guy, she could have accompanied Naruto as he grew up, and Naruto wouldn't have become an orphan.
That guy alone—he must never be forgiven!
Having spent this time together, Kushina Uzumaki had gained some understanding of her son's personality, knowing he was a kind child.
Because she feared Naruto might show mercy to the Masked Man, she took the initiative to make such a request.
On this point, Minato Namikaze held the same view as his wife. However, his intent to kill the Masked Man didn't stem from hatred, but because he felt the Masked Man's existence would sooner or later cause huge destruction to the entire ninja world. He believed the Masked Man was a threat that had to be eliminated—well, actually, there was a tiny bit of personal grievance in there too.
However, regarding this point, Kushina Uzumaki and Minato Namikaze underestimated their son's determination to kill the Masked Man.
"Mhm, don't worry, Mom!"
Hearing Kushina Uzumaki's words, Naruto immediately clenched his fist and promised, "This time, I will definitely finish that guy off and avenge you two—uh, that sounds a bit weird."
"Haha!"
Kushina Uzumaki laughed at Naruto's words and comforted him, "Son, your father and I have already accepted that we are dead. You don't need to worry too much. We are already very satisfied to be able to accompany you as you grow up in this way."
Although Naruto hadn't said it out loud, Minato Namikaze had already guessed that Naruto was definitely looking for a way to resurrect them, and he had even shared this guess with Kushina Uzumaki.
Although they also wanted to be resurrected and truly accompany Naruto as he grew up—watching him get married and have children—they didn't want Naruto to put too much pressure on himself because of this.
"Mom, Dad, don't worry!"
Naruto understood the meaning behind his mother's words and said confidently, "Your company will never be a pressure for me; it will only give me infinite motivation!"
Naruto wasn't lying. Resurrecting Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki was his greatest life goal right now, and it filled him with motivation.
"Son..."
Kushina Uzumaki was deeply moved by Naruto's words and called out, "Come here to Mom."
Hearing his mother's call, Naruto immediately entered the sealing space, and what greeted him was a tight embrace from Kushina Uzumaki.
On the side, Minato Namikaze watched the mother and son with a smile, then quietly said to the Nine-Tailed, "Nine-Tailed, if Naruto encounters danger and needs to use your power, making you unable to maintain the existence of Kushina and me, don't hesitate. Help Naruto with everything you have. I'm counting on you."
"Hmph!"
The Nine-Tailed snorted disdainfully. "You don't need to tell me that. I know what to do."
It lowered its head and glanced at Minato. "Don't tell me you think you're more important than this jinchuriki whose life is linked to mine?"
"Thank you, Nine-Tailed."
Minato simply smiled and said, "I knew sealing you inside Naruto back then was the right decision."
"Hmph!"
The Nine-Tailed raised its head again. "Instead of thinking about that, you and your wife should figure out how to get my other half back."
"Don't worry, Nine-Tailed."
Minato's smile didn't fade. "Kushina already has an idea, but we need to wait until Naruto grows a bit more before trying it."
After his revival, Minato had been planning for Naruto's future. Retrieving the other half of the Nine-Tails sealed in the Shinigami's stomach was a top priority.
Through studying the Reaper Death Seal, he and Kushina had found a possible method. However, it carried risks, and Naruto didn't need it yet.
"Really?"
The Nine-Tailed's eyes lit up. "You actually found a way?"
Minato nodded, but didn't elaborate. He simply turned his attention back to Naruto and Kushina with a gentle smile.
An hour later, somewhere in the Land of Fire.
Tsunade was excitedly playing dice against a creature when a bolt of lightning suddenly descended from the sky, landing in front of her and transforming into Naruto.
"You brat, you scared me!"
Tsunade glared at him. "Didn't you say you were going to the Land of Lightning? Why are you back so soon?"
"I've already been there. It's done."
Naruto grinned. "Let's go find the Masked Man."
"Ah—"
Tsunade paused, then tossed the dice aside. "Alright. Business first."
She quickly formed hand signs and sent the creature away.
Naruto glanced at the dice and immediately realized she had probably lost.
"Right!"
Naruto suddenly asked, "Granny Tsunade, where's Karin?"
"Karin, huh."
Tsunade smiled proudly. "She's in Shikkotsu Forest, learning Sage Arts."
"Sage Arts?"
Naruto tilted his head. "What's that?"
"You don't know?"
Tsunade raised a brow. "Jiraiya and Minato didn't teach you?"
"No."
Naruto shook his head. "Is it some stronger ninjutsu?"
Tsunade smirked slightly.
"Listen carefully, brat. Sage Arts are formed by absorbing natural energy and combining it with your own energy. It's called Sage Chakra."
"When you use it, you enter Sage Mode. In that state, your power becomes several—sometimes dozens—of times stronger than normal ninjutsu."
"Not only that, your senses are also greatly enhanced."
Naruto blinked.
"The power increases... senses enhanced..."
He muttered to himself,
"Why does that sound so similar to Tailed Beast Chakra Mode?"
