Chapter 111 - Chapter 111 This is the Youth Champions League final

"Both teams have entered the stadium. Leading Atlético Madrid is their top star — Fernando Torres! The blond striker is incredibly handsome. He reminds many fans of David Beckham."

"Atlético Madrid are lining up in a 4-4-2 formation. Torres is partnered up front with Manuel del Moral, who takes on more of the target-man responsibilities."

"The most eye-catching midfielder for Atlético is Gabriel Fernández Arenas — better known as Gabi. He plays with intensity, strong in both attack and defense. While he may not have the flair of Rafael van der Vaart, his overall strength is undeniable."

"Behind Gabi is Álvaro Sevilla in midfield. At center-back, Pedro Mario is one to watch. He's comfortable on the ball, and Barcelona scouts are reportedly very interested in him."

"As for Sporting CP U15, it's their usual starting lineup. Kai begins on the bench today. He's a regular rotation player and is very likely to feature in this match."

"Both teams are league champions this season. A true clash of kings."

"In a high-profile match like this, performance will influence future selection. Among the four core players — Torres, Gabi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Kai — whoever adapts to the atmosphere first will give his team a major advantage."

Beep!

The whistle blows.

The UEFA Youth League Final begins.

Atlético Madrid in red and white.

Sporting CP in green and white.

Sporting kick off.

Ronaldo, Lorenzo, and Marcelino immediately sprint forward.

Veloso passes back to Semedo.

Atlético begin their high press.

Semedo sends the ball toward Kai.

The next second—

The entire stadium freezes.

Kai traps the ball.

Then plants his left foot.

With his right foot on top of the ball—

He spins.

One full rotation.

Two rotations.

720 degrees.

The stadium goes silent.

Commentators across Europe struggle for words.

Huang Jianxiang reacts first:

"Kai uses his left foot as a pivot and rolls the ball under his right, spinning twice in place like a compass."

"It looks simple, but it's technically difficult."

"However… apart from showboating, it's hard to see any practical effect."

In the stands, reactions are mixed.

Roy Keane frowns.

"If someone tried that shit against me from kickoff, I'd kick his legs clean off."

Paul Scholes nods calmly.

"You absolutely would."

In Brazil, Ronaldo Nazário is hosting a barbecue, watching the match as background entertainment.

"This is very Brazilian," he laughs. "But the difficulty level is low. He should watch more of my games."

Back in France, Zinedine Zidane is watching with his family.

"He's not the type to show off without purpose," Zidane says quietly. "This isn't just for flair… wait."

Zidane leans forward.

He sees it.

Atlético's defensive line hesitates.

They're stunned.

For a split second—

They stop moving.

Chance.

Boom.

Kai strikes.

The ball rockets off his foot in a stunning long pass.

Atlético's players snap back to reality.

"Close him down!"

"Fuck!"

"Take him out!"

But it's too late.

On screen—

Cristiano Ronaldo is a streak of green lightning slicing through a red net.

Every defender looks frozen.

Only Ronaldo is alive.

"One-on-one!"

"Ronaldo through on goal!"

"Shoot—GOAL!"

"Lightning strike! Sporting CP lead 1–0!"

"Fifteen seconds! Just fifteen seconds from kickoff!"

"This is the CR–Kai connection — the most terrifying U15 duo in Europe!"

"Kai's spinning wasn't pointless. He dragged every defender's attention toward himself. Ronaldo's run went completely unnoticed!"

"What a striker!"

This duo had already dismantled Europe's top youth prospects this season:

Petr Čech

Robin van Persie

Arjen Robben

Wesley Sneijder

Bastian Schweinsteiger

Would Torres and Gabi be next?

The commentator laughs.

"I was about to call Kai an idiot for that spinning top."

"Now? I shut my mouth."

"That pass was sudden, precise, and deadly."

Atlético's Response

The early goal shifts the momentum.

Sporting grow calmer.

Atlético grow furious.

First provoked.

Then punished.

They press aggressively.

But Kai controls the tempo in midfield.

He shields the ball, moves laterally, draws fouls, and occasionally clears long to slow the rhythm.

Atlético's anger crashes into cotton.

No damage.

Their closest chance comes in the 31st minute.

Gabi threads a pass to del Moral.

Del Moral lays it off to Torres.

Torres shrugs off Veloso and fires—

Off the post.

World-class movement.

The first half nears its end.

Five minutes remain.

Sporting push forward with a high defensive line.

Ronaldo cuts inside from the left, aiming for the box.

Atlético swarm him.

Gabi stretches out a foot—

Clean tackle.

The ball bounces deep into Atlético's half.

Center-back Pedro Mario collects it.

Kai charges him instantly.

"Here!" Gabi calls, offering a passing lane.

At the same time—

Torres explodes forward from near the center circle.

Counterattack mode activated.

Mario shapes to pass toward Gabi.

But he sees Kai shifting laterally.

Kai looks ready to intercept.

If Mario passes to Gabi and Kai slides—

Interception.

Mario hesitates.

Fakes toward Gabi.

Cuts inside.

Then gently lifts the ball forward—

Boom.

The pass is blocked.

Mario looks down.

Standing there—

Sporting's No. 24.

Kai.

Mario's eyes widen.

He didn't shift toward Gabi?

That was a fake?

Kai smirks slightly.

He had read the entire sequence.

Atlético thought they were launching a counter.

Instead—

They just walked into a trap.

And tonight—

There was no way Kai intended to let this trophy slip.
