I was finally back in the heart of the Dragon Realm.
This vast stone palace was officially my home now. My parents had formally handed me over to him before we departed from the werewolf pack lands, trusting him with my safety. They knew exactly who he was, and they wholeheartedly approved of our union.
The Aethryx was already making grandiose plans for a massive wedding ceremony, which would be held right alongside his official royal coronation as the undisputed ruler of the realm.
Even though our fate was set in stone, I had quietly asked him for a little bit of time to adjust to everything.
So, while we shared the same grand royal bedchamber, we did not share the same bed just yet. I had asked him for that boundary, and he had agreed without a single moment of hesitation or complaint.
We took things at a slow, comfortable pace, letting our love grow naturally without pressure.
