No way out, not a shred of hope given.
Sengoku couldn't help but raise his slightly smug head, his eyes filled with wisdom, the wisdom of controlling everything.
"When the Navy truly wants to deal with someone, no matter who he is, the outcome will inevitably be…"
"Fleet Admiral Sengoku, this is bad!"
Suddenly, a Marine ran in.
Sengoku's heart sank.
No way?
It's only been a few minutes; could Kevin have escaped already?
Impossible, there's no way out, whether by land or by sky.
If he goes into the sea, Kuzan can freeze it.
If he goes into the sky, Borsalino's speed can stop him.
Kevin and the others can at most hold on for a while, but they can't escape.
At most, Gyon alone can fly away, but Kevin and the others have no chance.
"Fleet Admiral Sengoku, the former vice-captain of the Roger Pirates, Dark King Rayleigh, has appeared! He is helping Kevin!" the Marine reported the latest intelligence in a panic.
"Dark King Rayleigh?"
Sengoku's expression changed drastically.
"Damn it, Dark King Rayleigh, why is he here? Why is he helping Kevin?"
Sengoku began to feel uneasy.
Dark King Rayleigh, who had been missing for almost ten years, no one would doubt his combat power; easily blocking an Admiral was a given.
Of the three Admirals, only two remained.
One was indispensable.
If even one was missing, Sengoku feared they wouldn't be able to stop the Sun and Moon Pirates.
"Having paid such a huge price and waited for so long, we absolutely cannot fail again!" Sengoku's face contorted.
If they failed today, the Sun and Moon Pirates would enter the New World, and the chances of waiting for such an opportunity again in the future would be almost zero.
"Isn't it just Dark King Rayleigh? Send more people!"
Sengoku looked at the high-ranking Navy officers.
We, the Navy, still have strong individuals.
If that doesn't work, the World Government still has strong individuals. Today, no matter what, Kevin must be killed.
Sengoku first looked at Garp.
"Garp, Dark King Rayleigh is your old opponent. You go there."
Garp suddenly clutched his stomach: "Oh, my stomach feels unwell, I ate something bad yesterday."
Garp feigned illness, and quite unconvincingly, under Sengoku's furious gaze.
Sengoku was speechless.
"Forget it, you stay here." Sengoku had no expectations for Garp; it was better this way. If he were to be as perfunctory as last time when they encountered Kevin, it would be even more troublesome.
Hearing that he didn't have to go, Garp chuckled, and his stomach no longer hurt.
He had no interest in participating in the plan to encircle and annihilate Kevin, but he wouldn't stop the Marines either; he would just watch.
Sengoku then looked at another old partner, Chief of Staff Tsuru.
Before he could even speak, Sengoku shook his head, dismissing the idea.
Chief of Staff Tsuru was strong, but there was still a gap compared to a true Admiral.
And with her connection to Gyon, Sengoku was also afraid she would go easy on him.
"Am I to go myself?"
Sengoku's expression was not good.
I, the esteemed Fleet Admiral, have already dispatched three Admirals; must I go myself?
"Sengoku, let me go. Since he was once a member of the Navy Recruit Camp, one of my students, and has gone astray—though I've always believed he wasn't worthy of being my student—let me, as the Chief Instructor of the Navy Recruit Camp, personally send him on his way and teach the other members of the Navy Recruit Camp a lesson."
Zephyr stood up, one of the Admirals from the previous era.
Sengoku looked at Zephyr, seeing the determination in his eyes—a resolve to utterly destroy Kevin.
"Good, Zephyr, I'll leave it to you."
Zephyr was dispatched, and the other Marine high-ranking officers couldn't help but tremble.
It was too terrifying.
Four Admirals—they had never seen such a deployment in their long military careers.
"He's dead for sure!" The one-armed Tokikake laughed excitedly.
"The New World monsters, the Red Hair Pirates, their movements are to be constantly monitored! They must not be allowed to disturb the Sabaody Archipelago battlefield!" Sengoku roared his orders.
Marine Headquarters was constantly monitoring the movements of these pirates, especially today, fearing that someone else might come to help Kevin.
"The Whitebeard Pirates, Kaido of the Beasts, and Charlotte Linlin are all in their respective strongholds. Red-Haired Shanks entered the New World a month ago with no signs of emerging. The Revolutionary Army has appeared in the Four Seas."
"Good!" Sengoku exclaimed loudly.
These monsters that needed attention were all absent.
Even if they got the news, it would be impossible for them to reach Sabaody Archipelago.
In other words, in Sengoku's eyes, the monsters on the sea who had the ability and qualifications to help Kevin today would not be able to arrive.
Furthermore, Sengoku couldn't imagine why Whitebeard, Kaido, or Charlotte Linlin would help Kevin, even if they could come.
"Kevin, this is the consequence of opposing the World Government. I will hang your corpse on Sabaody Archipelago forever, to forever warn others that this is their fate."
Sengoku could no longer resist picking up the telephone transponder snail to speak with the Five Elders.
He was implicitly telling the Five Elders, "I, Sengoku, and we, the Marines, are not useless. When we truly act, we are bound to win."
"Good, well done."
The Five Elders praised Sengoku, and tears welled up in Sengoku's eyes.
After a year, he finally received approval from the Five Elders, instead of angry reprimands.
