The only thought Anna could have had regarding Sullivan's action towards the bullying she faced was, to the extreme, making sure business was difficult for the Salslovas. Afterall, the man had been quiet about it and had made it a point that he didn't care about Monique or her family.
Surly, she never expected him to involve himself in petty matters when he has far better things to do. Top of the list being gaining back his vigour at work and being suitable for chairman position.
It's not as though Anna has known Sullivan a long time. She hadn't. In fact it was more accurate to assume that she knew nothing about him. Except for what he was like at his home and how kind he was to her. She knew he had underhanded methods. She wasn't that much a fool having given he had killed people years back.
