[ELARA'S POV]
Three months pregnant with baby number three and I was convinced I'd made a terrible mistake.
Not about the baby. Never about the baby. But about thinking I could handle two kids under two while growing a third human and running a company.
"Mama, hungry!" Isla pulled on my leg. She was almost two. Walking. Talking. Demanding things constantly.
"Okay baby, let me just..." I trailed off because Julian started crying from the nursery. Four months old. Needed to be fed every three hours. Currently five minutes past due.
And I was bent over the toilet trying not to throw up my breakfast.
Morning sickness was worse this time. Way worse. All day nausea. Couldn't keep anything down except crackers and ginger ale.
"Damian!" I called. Desperate.
He appeared in the bathroom doorway. Already dressed for work. Tie knotted. Hair perfect. "What do you need?"
"Julian's crying. Isla's hungry. I'm about to throw up. Pick one."
