"I didn't, so that's why I am bringing him with me this time," she shrugged as if she didn't purposely cross them out only because of Alexis not feeling uncomfortable at the wedding around them.
"I am getting all of it but I don't understand why me being there is fitted in that situation," Alexis asked, confused.
"Of course, there is. Look, Alexis, try to enjoy yourself while being here. You never had a shortage of plus ones at weddings, why not the party too?" Rebecca knew she placed a time bomb in front of her best friend pretending she did nothing but she didn't know a better way to do it anyway.
