Celebrating Christmas and New Year's alone weren't something new for Venessa. Surprisingly, she didn't mind having her day offs full of herself. She has never found comfort in a crowd despite her hectic job since early childhood.
Her father, who was too busy to look for her and spend quality time on holidays, made her get used to being alone on vacations.
And as for her mother, it has been so long since she passed away that memories with her now are just a blurry past.
During her relationship with other guys including Arthur, things didn't change vastly. Because she was too used to her lifestyle to care about the change anyway. Arthur would always be the most understanding one on this part, not pushing her too much out of her comfort zone which is why she always felt they were perfect.
Stefan never cared much about her preferences all these years anyway, not that she expected him to as they were in a fake marriage. So he also let her have her life to herself in his own way.
