"Alex!"
As soon as Rebecca spotted Alexis walking towards her slowly while trying her best to run off the crease away from her dress, she called her.
Good thing it was Rebecca's dress she was wearing. Or else she couldn't tell if she was going to return to the party at all.
Alexis could see Rebecca looking at her as if she was ready to give a hard scolding but then someone came in the middle of her vision.
It was that woman in a red gown.
She ignored her although she was standing right in front of her while waving towards her back.
"Hey, Arthur. Couldn't find you," that mysterious voice again.
Alexis told him to fix his shirt and come back a little later than her but looks like he had no intention to do so.
What is he going to answer if he asked where he was and why they came back together?
"Finished your business?" The woman walked past her and stood beside Arthur as if she belonged there. But the attempt to make Alexis feel worthless wasn't that grant in her eyes.
