Two weeks later…
Fourteen days had passed swiftly. Delfina had already moved into Dominic's mansion, and Gabriele rained her with lots of questions as to why they had to leave their home.
Delfina wished they didn't have to either, but it was all part of making people believe they were actually married. No married couple lived in separate houses anyway.
Eventually, she had to tell him that Dominic was his father and that they would be living together.
Delfina had been worried that Gabriele wouldn't take the information well. Surprisingly, he had. He called Dominic dad every day and waited up for Dominic to come back from work just to tell him goodnight.
Dominic was not doing bad himself but she could see that he was awkward a few times during the interaction.
When his parents found out about their marriage after it had gotten on their internet, they'd ringed him immediately, demanding why they didn't involve them. Mrs. Silvestri accused Delfina of manipulating her son.
