Delfina, Verena, Samantha, and Agatha all watched their parents board their flight.
It hadn't been easy, but somehow, Mrs. Santiago had believed Delfina when she promised she would protect Verena. She'd trusted her.
Her husband had intervened, but she gave him an assuring smile.
Everyone had been beyond shocked when she'd agreed that Verena and Samantha could stay in Milan for a little longer.
She didn't mention anything about the arranged marriage with Rodrigo, but Delfina felt that would be a problem in the future. But she would have to start plotting how to get Verena out of that situation. Perhaps, she could inform Dominic and he could suggest an idea.
