"You locked her up in your house and beat her up whenever you wanted. Have you forgotten that, Filippo, or must I remind you of that?"
"What did you just say?" Filippo questioned her.
Navira scoffed.
"Why do you act surprised? You were planning on killing her. I only did what you couldn't do, and now, you're acting like some Good Samaritan who can't stain his hands with blood."
Filippo's lips thinned into a straight line.
When he'd seen the video, he'd been baffled. He wasn't completely surprised that Navira could do such a thing. In fact, he was glad she did.
It gave him more than enough reason to divorce her.
He'd been skeptical at first, especially during the time when Navira had gone viral after she'd tried to have Delfina sexually assaulted at the villa they'd gone to for a vacation.
He'd been worried about what the divorce would do to Jasmine, their daughter. He was still worried that it would affect her. But he was done with Navira.
